Perfect Closure

Emily POV:

*Three Months Later*

I stared at the little test in my hand for fifteen minutes and tried to control my breathing. Two little red lines... I was pregnant. I tossed the test on the bathroom window ledge then racked my fingers through my hair wondering how to tell everyone, and most importantly how to tell Harry that he was having a baby with his ex girlfriend who he had a one night stand with before the wedding.

I paced around a while and planned out what I wanted to say to him. I also wondered what his reaction would be. Would he be happy, angry, sad? Would he deny it was his? I rubbed my forehead then groaned running to the toilet as a wave of nausea hit me. I emptied the content of my stomach into the toilet bowl for a good five minutes then cleaned up and lay on the floor letting the tiles cool me down

I jumped hearing my phone from my bedroom then stood up and walked through then picked up my phone looking at the caller ID. It was Harry, I exhaled the breath I was holding then pressed answer and put him on speaker phone "Em... It's Harry" I smiled hearing his voice and whispered into the phone "I know, your number appeared on my caller ID" I heard him chuckle then whispered "So hows Married life"

I heard him sigh then immediately regretted what I had asked "It's... It's not for me. I don't really love her" I sucked in a breath and closed my eyes biting my lip "Em... Can I come see you?" I smiled into the receiver and nodded my head then realised he couldn't see me and sat up playing with my toes "Of course you can, I'm still in the apartment you got me. I actually have some news for you"

Harry POV:

"I actually have some news for you" I frowned biting my lip then slid my shoes on wondering what the news was. Was she ill? Was she leaving town? I picked up my keys and my wallet letting her know I'd be over to her apartment in less than twenty minutes, as I drove thousands of questions had plagued my mind: Was she eating? Was she getting enough sleep? Had she moved on from me? I really hoped that last question wasn't true. I wouldn't know what to do if she had moved on from me

I parked the car behind her car then cut the engine and climbed out smiling as she stood in some short's and an oversized t-shirt that I had recognised as one of my own, she looked gorgeous. Tired but gorgeous, I ran over engulfing her in a hug then whispered "I missed you baby" I lowered my lips to hers then frowned as she placed a finger on my lips "What's wrong Em" I kissed her finger then followed her gaze down to my wedding band on my left hand. I slid it off and put it in my wallet then lowered my lips to hers and pecked her lips

"Let's get you in the warm. It's far too cold" I lifted her into my arms then carried her inside and peppered kisses along her neck and behind her ear "Harry... We really need to talk" I set her down on the sofa then walked back to the door and closed it before walking back to the sofa and lifting her legs on to my lap as I sat down "So what's on your mind Beautiful" She played with my fingers as I rested my hands on her knees then sniffled and stared at me giving me the news I'd always wanted to her from her

"I'm Pregnant" She reached over picking up a Pregnancy test then handed it to me. I couldn't help but smile, Emily was having my baby. It was perfect, absolutely perfect. "How far along are you baby" She gulped and whispered "Just under three months" I nodded my head then pulled her into my lap and kissed her cheek "I'll help you. I promise I will" I didn't know how long we spent like this but before I knew it, it was dark out and Emily had fallen asleep. I set her down on the sofa and covered her over then pecked her forehead softly before sitting in the arm chair and glancing back at the pregnancy test.
