Finding You

I heard bottles shattering against the wall.Dad and Mom are home.I thought to myself.They were laughing and giggling one minute. The next they were arguing with each other.Another minute passes and it's quiet This is how I spend my 18th birthday.I was going to leave today,but I couldn't.My little brother and sister kept me here.I'm like there mom and Dad all in one.My parents are drunks and drug phenes.They'll be gone for weeks at a time,but honestly I don't care.My door began to creep open and my little brother adn sister came in.I sat up.
"Myra."Camren said.
"Yes I answered.
"Mommy and Daddy are yelling again."He replied Hannah remained quiet as she always is.I got up and flipped on the light switch.There faces were tomato red and tear stricken.
"Did they hurt you?"I asked setting them on my bed.
"We went outside to try and calm them but Dad hit us and we said no.."Hannah trailed off.
"Okay I'll go talk to them lock the door when I leave and turn the T.V on."I walked out the door and down stairs.They were still yelling and swearing at each other.
"You hit them."I said while standing against the door frame.
"They were defiant and they received the appropriate punishment just like you will."Mom said
"You don't control me anymore I'm 18 years old."
"You know since you wanna play mommy all the time why don't you adopt them and move."What she didn't know was I had all the adoption papers upstairs and I had a place in London.I also had plane tickets,and was waiting for this moment for a long time.
"Okay."I walked upstairs and grabbed them and ran back down.I set them on the table and watched her sign.After she was done I walked back upstairs and began to pack.About two hours later we were done and I called a cab to the nearest airport.Both of them were quiet as I explained to them what had happened.Neither one of them said anything.We'll this is happening I told my self.
