Beating Heart

Jasper's P.O.V

"What'd you fucking do to him?" I yell at him, tears streaming down my face.

"Don't swear, Jasper." Jane whispers.

"I don't fucking care, Jane!" I yell at her. I turn to Zayns father. "Tell me what the hell happened?"

"Your family has passed." He says, standing up.

"How? What happened? How would you know?" I ask, struggling to get out of the boys grasp on my shoulders.

"Jane, newspaper." Zayns dad snaps. He holds up the article and I read the headline 'MASSIVE CAR WRECK ON BEACHWOOD HIGHWAY'.

I'm speechless.

Zayns P.O.V

"Harry! Let me go! Jasper's in trouble!" I yell at Harry, who has put new handcuffs on me.

"Don't worry. Your dad wouldn't do anything to that ugly idiot." Harry says.

"First of all asshole, she's not ugly nor an idiot. Second of all, my dad could be torturing her!" I yell at him. He turns to look at me, but doesn't say anything.

"We can't let you go." Louis says. "Your fathers orders."

"I don't give a fuck what my dad says." I snap at him.

"You better. He could hear you right now." Liam says.

Jasper's P.O.V

I sob uncontrollably while Zayns dad watches me. He's probably thinking I'm pathetic. My whole family is lost. What am I supposed to do now? They aren't here to save me anymore.

"Take her to her room." He orders Jane. "Niall come help me with Zayn." Zayn. My love. My Zayn.

"When will I see him?" I ask as Jane tugs me through the door.

"Tonight, for dinner." He says, before entering another room.

Jane leads me into a pretty big and beautiful house. "Welcome to the Malik household." She says, pulling me up some stairs. "They're the wealthiest people in town."

"I see." I say, sadly.

"Don't worry, Jasper. You'll see him tonight at dinner which, surprisingly is in an hour." She says, leading me into a room. "This is your room. Mines across the hall."

I sit down on the queen sized bed silently, while she watches me. "You need to look presentable for dinner, why don't I help you with that?"

Zayns P.O.V

I stare up into my fathers eyes and listen to the echoes of what he had just said. "You need to marry her." Is all I can hear.

"She's too young." I protest and shake my head.

"You bit her!" He booms.

"Yeah, I know. That doesn't mean we have to get married!" I yell.

"Sooner or later you do." With that he storms out. How am I going to tell her?

"Let's get you to your room." Liam says. They lead me into the big house I once knew. To the hidden elevator that leads down to my underground bedroom, along with my parents.

I walk into the bedroom, it's like it was the day I left. Except, its been cleaned up at bit and there's not much dust.

"Get dressed." Louis says, closing the door. What am I supposed to get dressed in? A tux that won't even fit me? I look at the bed and see a suit with my size on it.

Jasper's P.O.V

"You look like a princess. I was supposed to look like that when I was forced to marry Zayn." She says, admiring the nice yellow dress.

"You were?" I ask, looking at her through the mirror.

"Yeah, we broke up the day before. He ran away the day we were supposed to be married too." She laughs. "I'm sorry for your loss."

"Thanks." I say, hugging her. Surprisingly, she hugs me back. I cry a little bit, but I know I have to stay strong.

After awhile, curling my hair and doing my makeup, Jane takes me downstairs. "This will be a family dinner, not a clan dinner." She says, leading me into a dining room. A man and a woman sit at the long table. I notice the man, it's Zayns father.

"I'm very surprised at how big this house is." I say, while sitting down.

"We have the biggest house outside of town." The woman smiles as Zayn walks in. His dad clears his throat. Making Zayn blurt something out:

"Jasper, we have to get married." Zayn tells me.
