Forever Alone

John has been gone for how long now? Four months. Wow that’s a long time Judith. How are you? Fine. Just fine? Fine you really want to know how I’m feeling? I am horrible. You’re lucky I’m keeping myself together. I mean I talk to him a couple times a week but it isn’t the same. I need him physically here with me to make me feel better. He is supposed to Skype with me today. I can’t wait. I am really excited. These past four months have been horrible. My friends are in their beautiful relationships and they go out every night and here I sit on my butt waiting for a phone call. But everyone makes sacrifices for love right? I mean I’m making one now. I mean the boys are going to be leaving soon to go on tour; well that’s what I heard from Rachel and Bridgette. They are going to feel the same pain I have. I mean they will probably fly them out to come see them and where will that leave me. Here. Alone. By myself. Judith, you told him to go. Now you must put on a smile and just be happy with this decision that you gave him. Judith, he will be home soon. I promise. It will go by quickly.

The time arrived for when John was supposed to Skype call you. You were really happy to see his face again. You forgot what he looked like. You missed him each passing day. Is it safe to say that you are in love with him? You were madly in love with him and you think that he feels the same. Your computer screen buzzed and you had a chat request from John. You fixed your hair and then hit the accept button.

“Hey,” he called out.

My was he just so handsome. He looked so different from since he left. Maybe because he looked like he hasn’t showered in days. Then again he probably has but he was just dirty from today’s work. His smile was stretched across his face. He was really happy to see you. He was everything you ever wanted. Why was he so perfect?

“Hey,” you answered.

“How was your day?” he asked

“It was okay. I went shopping. Other than that nothing really exciting,” you told him.

He laughed, “I’m glad you are keeping yourself busy.”

“Yeah I’m trying. How was your day?” you asked

“Well, I had a real busy day and I’m really tired but I needed time to talk to you. I miss seeing your face in front of me. Judith, you are so beautiful,” he answered.

“Thanks babe. I miss you too,” you replied.

“My friend, Tammy, and I have been treating this child and this child is such a sweetheart. His sister really cares about him,” he told you.

“Awwwww, I’m glad you are helping them out. You are such a saint,” you told him.

“Judith, I can’t wait to see you again,” he looked sad.

“Just two more months,” you answered.

“Two more months and I will be with you again,” he replied.

“It’s going to go by fast. It seems like yesterday you left,” you lied.

“Trust me it has been going by slow. I have never been away for this long from someone I care about so much,” he told you.

“I never had anyone been out of my life for so long. I mean my brother left when I was going through high school but he came back. You will come back too right?” you answered.

“Of course why wouldn’t I?” he asked

“I don’t know,” you replied.

“Judith, I will come back to you. I promise,” he told you.

“Thank you,” you smiled.

“Promise me something Judith,” he told you.

“What?” you asked

“Promise me that you will be there when I come home?” he asked

“I will John,” you replied.

“Well, I got to go now. I got a big day tomorrow. I will call you soon. Bye Judith. I love you,” he told you.

“I love you too,” you smiled at him before the chat ended.

He loved you. Wait he loves you. Judith, this is such a big step in your relationship. He just told you that he loved you for the first time. Please tell me that you are excited. You have been waiting for someone to tell you this since day one. Judith, he is such a keeper. Please don’t let him go. If you let him go it will be the biggest mistake of your life. Judith, please tell me that you won’t let him go. I promise.
