Niall’s view:
Beep. Beep. Beep.
“What the –” I shifted and looked around. I was in the van still. What time was it?? With a quick glance I learned it was two hours past from the time I got here. I fell asleep?? Who did Harry meet here?? I don’t remember seeing anyone leave. What was that beeping?? I sat up to look around the van. My phone was lighting up with a text and I noticed the number above the messaging icon. 57, I have 57 texts and god only knows how many calls. I wiped my face to help myself wake up a bit and started the van. I unlocked my phone by typing in ‘Izallouis’ and went straight to Liam’s contact and text him I was coming home now. I didn’t bother looking at anything he said to me because it would probably just be questions and “yelling”. I looked through my other messages fast because it was what I expected. The calls are what got me. I had more calls from Harry than anyone else. I put my phone in the passenger seat and shook my head to wake up a bit more. I still had tired lingering on me and I didn’t want to crash or something stupid like that. I pulled out onto the open road and headed straight for home. As I pulled in I noticed the lights were on so I expected a talking-to. I unlocked the door and slowly came in.
“Niall!” Zayn hopped off the couch.
“Hi.” I said awkward.
“I was worried.” He hugged me a bit tight.
“I just fell asleep in the van. Sorry dude.” I chuckled as he let me go.
“Well tomorrow is going to be a day off. It gives contestants time to practice songs, make friends, and even move into the studio rooms.” He informed me.
“That means –” I started and stopped because I knew he knew what I was thinking.
“Sleep.” He smiled and patted my shoulder.
“I think I'm going to get a snack and start early.” I said heading to the kitchen.
“Ok, Harry isn’t back yet so leave the door unlocked for him. Louis is in the pool if you want to see him.” Zayn headed upstairs. I made a sandwich and walked out on the patio. Louis was contently doing laps in the pool so instead of disturbing him I sat at the glass table and turned the laptop that was playing music for him towards me to get on some social media sites. I checked on family and got some messages wondering how I was doing. I answered a few saying the boys and I are fine then got off because I didn’t want to talk. I secretly knew what I was going to do the minute I looked at the laptop.
“When did you get home??” Louis asked breathing a bit heavy.
“Just a few minutes ago.” I looked at him.
“Did Zayn tell you –??”
“Yeah, I can't wait to sleep.” I smiled.
“Oh… well Liam is going to visit the studio residents and Zayn is going somewhere with Perrie; tomorrow is her last day here.”
“What are you doing??” I asked him.
“Thought I might take a day up to the mountains, clear my head before we continue on with this show.” He pondered ideas.
“Sounds good.” I said typing ‘Izallouis’ into the Google search bar.
“What are you doing??” He asked.
“Nothing.” I chuckled.
“Maybe you should call Izallouis.” He suggested.
“Ha.” I laughed obnoxious. “No.” I said seriously.
“Just be like I have a day off and thought we could practice or talk about what you want to sing on the show.”
“Have you heard her sing?? She doesn’t need help.” I remembered everything about that performance.
“Niall.” Louis said to get my full attention.
“Yeah??” I asked.
“Do you think you could be blinded by love??” What was he talking about??
“I don’t love her.” Best on spot response to whatever that question was.
“Well, I'm not even talking love. I'm talking about the expression.” He grabbed a towel he brought out and started to wipe down. “Do you think that you like her so much you see her as a bit better than what she is??” He rephrased it.
“No, she is amazing and I know you know it.”
“She is great… at dancing.” He said.
“What are you trying to say??” I stood up offended.
“Maybe you're seeing her as something she’s not because you like her.” I was appalled. “Just take some time to think about that.” He sat down and got on the laptop before I had time to object he saw what I was looking at. “And stop looking at this rubbish. It's not true and Harry would have told you if it was.” I was so frustrated and confused I just walked away. I went upstairs and opened up my own laptop and got back to that article. It’s saying Harry and Izallouis are going to be the new ‘It’ couple. Talks about all their sightings and has pictures. I feel sick. I grabbed my phone and called up someone I never thought I could trust but have.
“Jericha, what are you doing??” I asked the moment it stopped ringing.
“Niall??” She sounded surprised.
“Yeah.”
“I can't, I'm going to Charlotte's.” That immediately made me stop.
“What?? Are you meeting Harry??” I asked.
“No.” She said easy.
“Oh… well have fun.” I sighed.
“I'll bring you some food if you want.” She giggled.
“I'm good. Maybe we can hang out tomorrow??” I smiled. I don’t want her to think I'm just using her for a distraction, even if she is ok with it.
“Yeah, hey I have to go bye.” She was rushed and hung up before I could even say anything.
“Who was that??” Zayn poked his head in.
“Get out of here.” I threw a pillow and hit the door when he closed it to avoid fire.
“Well, I came to tell you I'm going to Perrie’s tonight.” He said from behind the door.
“Have fun!” I hollered. I lay back on my bed and just sunk into the mattress.
