Playing The Game

"Geez, what did we ever do to him?" Chris asked more to herself than to me so I didn't answer.
"What the hell is wrong with him?!" I asked her once we were my room.
I heard laughing except it wasn't coming from Chris. I looked at my window and saw that it was open and that mine and Harry's bedroom windows line up.
He responded to my question by saying "Everything."
He said "I know you only came to my house so you could see me. I heard your friend say that thing about going to meet the Hottie."
Oh god, I could feel the heat rise to my cheeks. He started laughing, I'm guessing because the change of color on mine and Chris's faces.
I stood up glared at him and then closed my window and curtains.
When I peeked through the curtains ,hoping he was gone, I saw he was just sitting there laughing.
I rolled my eyes.

Christina opened her mouth to say something but couldn't seem to find the right words but, I still understood exactly what she meant.
She said "Uh.. He's um..." I merely nodded and said "Mhm..."

I heard a knock from downstairs and walked down and opened up the door to see Anne standing there. "Oh. Hi Anne come in. How are you?"

"I'm fine thank you girls... I am so sorry about how Harry behaved it was comple-"

"Anne it's fine we understand he's probably just under pressure since he has so much to do because of the move."

"Yeah, and he's probably worried about going to a new school and making friends." Chris added smiling.

Anne smiled and said " Thank you girls so much for being this understanding."

"I really must go, I have to some things to do but girls, once Harry and I are settled I would love to invite you over."

"Thanks Anne just tell me when you want to get together and I'll tell Chris we can all go out for dinner together." I said.

Anne walked out and said "Thank you girls I'll see you soon."

Chris turned to me and said "Those two can not be related to each other.
I laughed and nodded no way in the world are they related.
