Notorious

*PERRIE POV*

Zayn held me on his lap the whole bike ride home, keeping me tightly hugged to his chest and I loved the warmth radiating off him. Kay was driving carefully for once in her life and I was extremely grateful. Gazing up at Zayn I realised how little attention I had been paying to him, he was so handsome and in his arms I felt something I hadn't felt in a long time, I felt safe. I'd only ever saw him as the shy stoner but as he held me I was seeing him in a new light. Kay had mentioned how he planned to save me and he had forced her to come get me before anything else should happen, he was my hero.

As the bike halted Zayn lifted me in his arms, cradling me close to him and gently carrying me into the house. He looked longingly into my eyes and I couldn't help but smile up at my savour as he placed me down onto the couch.

"I'll be right back, I have some crutches in the basement and I'll clean up your wounds" he looked down shyly and wandered downstairs. Kay placed herself on the chair opposite me, and wiggled her eyebrows in my direction.

"He is sweet isn't he? And all this time he just wanted to rescue you" Kay smirked, and her words certainly hit a raw nerve. All I've ever wanted is for someone to rescue me.

"Hmm..." I muttered as she stood up and walked out the room, shooting me a wink as she strutted down the hall. Louis appeared in front of her as she made her way towards her bedroom.

"Where the fuck have you been?" He snapped, sending her a harsh glare. Kay simply smiled smugly and gestured in my direction. Louis stood shocked, staring at me in happiness, I waved at him and he smiled in return as Kay pushed him back into his room. Idiots.

Zayn returned shortly afterwards with crutches and a first aid kit, he placed the crutches at the end of the couch and began to disinfect my wounds, taking extra care not to hurt me. I watched as he swiped disinfectant slowly over my burns, almost as if I was so delicate the slightest nudge would break me.

"Come here Zayn" I demanded as I gesture for him to come near me, he kneeled down next to me and I wrapped my arms round his neck, his breathing increased as I edge closer to him, pulling him into a passionate kiss. His lips against mine was like perfection, his tongue lightly explored my mouth. I pulled away and Zayn could not hid his smile, allowing his cheekbones to pop out.

"I...I erm" he scratched the back of his head nervously as he struggled to stutter his words out, "I never thought I'd find someone as perfect as you in this fucked up world Perrie."

"I hate the world we live in Zayn, all the gangs and the fighting and the drugs, I wish I could get away from it all" I replied, his face turned to disappointment and I continued, "I'd take you with me, we could go far away and live a normal life together, without the risks" he smirked a little at the thought and I smoothly pecked his lips once more.

"Ill take you away from here Perrie, but we can't leave Kay to fight this war on her own!" Zayn was right and I knew it, his voice was calm and soothing as he reasoned with me.

"What about after this is over?"

"I'll take you anywhere, we will get our cuts of the money and go anywhere we want, I promise" he whispered as he stroked the side of my cheek with his thumb, placing a silent kiss on my forehead and walking outside to the garden decking.

I grabbed hold of the crutches and made my way towards Dani's room, carefully hobbling along, I could hear her speaking on the phone and looked through the crack in the door.

"Yes I know it had the be realistic, but in the fucking stomach, are you completely insane?! ... Okay ... Yes I'll meet him there later ... Bye!" She hung up, sighing heavily and I cleared my throat to get her attention. Dani turned around, staring at me in complete shock.

"Who was that Dani?"

"Oh no one, I'm so glad your back Pez!" She replied, swarming me in a hug.
