Why her?

Niall's POV
I can't beleive I am running against Hope! She isn't a mean competitor though, she is super nice about it! I told her I might drop out, but I don't think I will. I've been trying to avoid Joy after that whole "Social" thing happened. It just feels too awkward around her. I kinda feel like I'm falling for Hope. But I can't, right? I have a girlfriend, right? This is stupid! This is EXACTLY why I didn't want a girlfriend. I decide to go talk to her. She perked up as soon as she sees me walking towards her. "Hey, what's up?" She said, trying to act cool. "Umm nothing. I just,I um, I was wondering of you wanted to go to lunch with me on Saterday?" I studdered. I've always been confident! What's going on?!?! "Like a date? But-but wha-what about Joy?" She studdered back. " No, no. Not like a date, like a friendly um thing." I said. "Oh OK!" She said. "Hey, I'm so going to beet you next week at the elections!" She said playfully, she lightly punched my arm. "Hey, you better go. Class is about to start!" She said.

Hope's POV
Niall asked me on a friend date! It maybe a friend date, but it's better than nothing! I can't focus. All I heard about nothing from the teacher. I'm screaming inside. I can't wait for saterday!
