I woke up smelling sausage and waffles. Burning. I ran out of bed and downstairs to the kitchen. Niall was moving frantically around the kitchen. Completely not under control.

"Everything's under control." Niall rushed to turn a pancake over.

I giggled. He was a horrible cook, except for Dublin Coddle. I wasn't great myself with cooking, but baking was my specialty. When I was little, I would help my father in his bakery.

"The heat's too high, and the pan isn't oiled." I turned the burners off.

"Thanks, love." He kisses me on the lips. I smile into the kiss. "So how'd you like last night?"

I blush at the thought. It was great. Better than great, it was "Amazing!" I grinned.

Niall smiled, fixing us plates of food, the least burnt as possible.

We sat at the table talking and laughing and giving dirty jokes. I looked at the clock. It was 11:47 p.m! I hadn't even noticed how dark it was outside, and we fell asleep at like 3 something.

"Why did you make breakfast so...early?" I asked Niall.

"Hmmm..." He looked at the clock, "I don't know. I was bored and couldn't sleep, so I wanted to improve my cooking skills."

I giggled, "Well, it's you're trying. Maybe Mark or Barbara could teach you."

We finished eating, and didn't know what to do. Movies were getting old, it was too late to go anywhere, so we laid in the canopy in the garden, snuggled together, looking at the stars.

"The Moon is 4.6 billion years old." I answered Niall's question.

"How do you know all this stuff?" Niall asked, amazed. I held up phone. His soft chuckle raising my head on his chest. It was July, but it was still cold. We had a fluffy blanket over us. Mosquitos weren't a problem and Niall didn't ask for any food. Everything was peaceful, so I drifted off to sleep.
