Life unexpected

Adele

I woke up with a start. That dream again. The dream that I had just had was of the day that I was nearly raped.

The nurse turned around when she heard me stand up.

"Oh, you're awake" she gasped.

"Yeah, how long was I out?"

"About an hour or so but I think it would be best if you went home to rest for a few days. You had a nasty fall"

"-fall?" I cut her off.

"Yes, the girls explained what happened" she nodded. I grabbed my bag from the side and thanked her before leaving.

. . .

"Oh my-" I gasped when I saw my face in the mirror. The right side of my face was completely bruised up. It wouldn't be easy to cover up with foundation. My makeup was running down my face. I decided that tonight, I was going to drink away my sorrows.

I went upstairs and had a quick shower before gently covering up my bruise. When you could no longer see it, I applied a lot of dark eye makeup including eye liner, mascara and eye shadow. I shimmied into a little tight black dress which barely covered my bum. It came to way above mid thigh but I didn't care. Seeing as it was strapless, I had to wear a strapless bra. I did my lips a deep red before slipping my feet into seven inch black heels.

When I had straightened my hair, I put some hairspray in to give it more volume. When I was happy with the way I looked, I went downstairs. After a few hours of sitting around, I decided to leave. I didn't have enough money for a taxi, I had to walk the full two miles to the club.

As I stepped through the door, I pushed through the mass of sweaty bodies until I came to the bar. It only took a matter of minutes before a man came up to me.

"Hey baby, can I buy you a drink?" I pushed my body of the bar and sidled up to him before nodding.

"Quiet one are you?" He chuckled. His eyes raked over my body before he handed me a drink. I swallowed the liquid and let him lead me onto the dance floor.

I let the beat of the music guide me as I slowly swung my hips. When I was used to the beat, I pushed my hands through my hair and slowly reached behind me. His hands roamed my body as I grinded on him.

. . . After a lot of drinks . . .

Ring Ring

"Hallo"

"Heeeyyy!" I slurred.

"Adele?" Came Nialls confused voice through the phone. "Are you drunk?" He said and I could here him moving.

"Mayybee" I frowned.

"Where are you? I'm coming to get you" he said.

"I'm at a club near my house. I'm having fun don't come" I pouted.

"Are you going to dance?" Came a deep voice behind me. I turned around.
"You'll have to lift me up" I said.

"Who was that?" Nialls voice came through the phone.

"Just a nice man I met"

"Right, thats it, I'm coming" he said hanging up before I could protest.

The man quickly put his large hands on my waist and lifted me up. I tottered on top of the bar. I quickly threw my heels off and looked around.

This was a bad idea. I lifted my hands and pulled my hair away from my face before swinging hips and dancing with a cocktail glass in one hand and a cigarette in another.


Niall

I drove to the club that was nearest to Adeles house. I leapt out of my car and went inside the club. Smoke filled the room and it took a while to find Adele. I soon found her at the center of attention. She was dancing on top od the bar and everytime she swung her hips her already short skirt hitched up her tiny thighs. She swigged from a nearly empty cocktail glass.

I looked around to see men surrounding the bar, looking at her lustfully. Pushing through the crowd, I shouted at her and she looked down in shock. Grabbing her arm, I pulled her forcefully but gently down off the bar. I got shouted at but I ignored them. She grabbed her heels from the floor and let me drag her out.

She wrenched free of my grip as soon as we got outside and started walking away furiously. I was too shocked to follow her for a moment. She held her shoes in one hand as she hurried away from me. It was like zero degrees out here, she must be freezing. I ran after her and grabbed her arm. I was worried about her.

She spun round. "Just, just let me take you home" I breathed and something in her eyes softened. She looked behind her before shrugging and following me.

I shrugged off my coat and hung it around her shoulders. She tensed at the gesture then leant into my shoulder as I guided her to my car. When she had stumbled in to the back seat, I ran to the front. When I looked back she was shivering.

"Shit, sorry" I gasped as I turned the heat up. We drove in silence, her curled up on the back seat of my car and me driving wihout saying a word.

It was only a ten minute drive and when I pulled up outside her house, I shivered, remembering the last time I was here. Looking back at Adele, I realised that she had fallen asleep. I quickly went round and scooped her up into my arms. She stirred slightly and her eyes opened a little.

"Do you have a key?" I asked and she blindly reached down the front of her dress. I blushed and looked away. She pushed it into my hand before lulling her head against my chest. She barely weighed enough for a 10 year old girl. I carried her upstairs and placed her carefully on the bed. She woke up and looked up at me.

"Um, do-do you need help, uh, getting dressed" I stuttered.

"Can you unzip me?" She asked shyly. I nodded and undid the back of her dress. It fell off and pooled at her ankles. She didn't seem to care that I was there as she undid her bra and pulled on an oversized Fall Out Boy shirt.

I didn't see anything as she had her back turned. But I could still see the bruises that littered her back. "Shall I just go th-"

"Please, uh, cou-could you um stay" she whispered and I could tell that she was embarassed. I nodded, forgetting about the interview tomorrow morning. I sat beside her on the bed and nearly screamed as she secured her arms around my waist and pulled me down next to her. I wasn't sure if it was the alcohol or just her, but I was suprised. I didn't mind though and I quickly secured my arms around her tiny waist. She layed her head on my chest and I soon fell asleep.
