Life unexpected

A few days later Adele pov I decided to end it. I had enough of this torment. Having tried before and failed, I needed to do it different. This time I would jump. I know what you must be thinking, what has happened that makes her want to commit suicide? It was worse. Amber has been sending me death threats, she won’t leave me alone. I have a whole new collection of bruises down my back and stomach. They left my face alone, just to stop the questions. It was quite dark as I climbed out of the top attic window and onto the flat of the roof outside. I was bare foot and had no makeup on. I had tears streaming down my face. I collapsed on the edge of the roof and looked down. I raked my hands through my long dark waves. I let out another choked sob. Why was it me? It had always been me. The one who got picked on. I looked down again. The fall should kill me, but if not I would lie there in agony. I was startled when I saw a black range rover pull up outside my house. Standing up again, I padded over barefooted and edged over until I was almost of before I heard, “Stop, Adele what are you doing?” I looked down to see a wild eyed niall. He looked so afraid. “Stay back!” I called I took another inch forwards. “Please Adele, let’s talk about this.” I looked down and saw niall had tears streaming down his face. I looked away but something brought me back to his face, it was so pleading, so hurt. I looked out into the city and thought how this would affect others. And then I thought, this would not affect others, only niall. No-one else cared. “Please.” He once again called. I felt the tears pouring down my face. I wiped them away furiously. What should I do? Should I stop? I could just jump off the roof. What if Niall caught me? No, that could never happen. Niall had tears streaming down his face. “Come down Adele, please, I beg of you, don’t do this don’t throw your life away. I will help you through this, we can get through it together. I took a step back, away from the roof edge. I did not know why. Another step, and another, until I reached the roof window which I had come through. I staggered down the steps as if in a dream. I choked back sobs. I fumbled with the bolts on the door and unlocked it. Niall stood there. When he saw me he pulled me into a rough hug. I had no energy to hug him back. He held me like that for a few moments before pulling back and staring at my tear stained eyes. I must look a wreck. I had no makeup on and I had a pair of leggings on with a baggy purple jumper on that came to mid thigh. I had no shoes and my hair was a tangled mess around my tear stained face. “Why did you want to do it?” I stayed silent. He looked panicked. He still had tears streaming down his face. “I’m sorry, I’m so so sorry.” “No darlin, don’t apologize. Please just tell me why?” I sobbed again and collapsed into his arms. He carried me bridal style to the living room and gently put me down on to the sofa, before sitting next to me and holding me in his strong arms.
