Marcel POV

After school, I go to my locker, and pack up my things. I walk downstairs and go to Grey's locker. When she's finished packing, we walk down the hall. We go through the lobby and out the front door. Finn walks in front of me.
He smirks at me, "Hey Marcel."
I try to go around him, and he steps in front of me. He laughs.
I look at Grey.
She scowls at Finn, "Get the fuck out of our way."
He raises his eyebrows, "I think you should shut your mouth."
She rolls her eyes, and grabs my arm. We walk around him.
As we're walking down the street, I look at Grey.
"I'm sorry," I say.
She looks at me, "You're sorry? What did you do?"
"I don't know," I say. I feel bad that she deals with Finn for me.
We walk up to the elementary school, where my younger sister, Claudia, goes.
Grey looks at me, "I can't wait to see Claudia!"
I smile, "She loves you. She really looks up to you."
"Aww," Grey says, "Does she know we're picking her up today?"
"No," I reply. We sit on a bench in the front of her school. I look at my phone. It's 3:10. Claudia should be out any minute. Suddenly, I see her walking out of the building. She looks at Grey excitedly.
"Grey!" she screeches, and runs over to hug her. She takes her hand, and we walk down the street. I take Claudia's other hand. I zone out as Grey talks to Claudia.
We walk down the road, to the ice cream shop. We walk in, and we all order.
"Ten dollars, please," the cashier says.
I take out my wallet, while Grey reaches in her pocket.
I take out ten dollars, and hand it to the cashier.
Grey looks at me, "Marcel!"
I smile, "It's fine."
We take our ice cream, and walk outside. We eat our ice cream, while walking toward the park.
"Grey?" Claudia asks.
Grey looks at her, "Yes?"
"Are you going to marry Marcel?" Claudia asks innocently.
I laugh.
Grey smiles, "I don't think so, Claud."
Claudia frowns, "But I want to be your flower girl."
Grey smiles, "Well, by the time Marcel gets married you'll be older. Maybe you'll be a flower girl for someone else."
"Okay," Claudia says.
When we reach the park, Grey and I sit on a bench.
Claudia throws away the cup from her ice cream.
"Grey!" she says, "Let's see if there are any ducks in the pond."
Grey gets up, "Okay."
I sit on the bench, finishing my ice cream cone. I watch them talking and laughing. I think about what Claudia said earlier. Where did she get that from? No one knows that I like Grey.
Well, people at school know somehow. And Harry suspects it.
Grey and Claudia walk back towards me a few minutes later.
I smile at them, "Any ducks?"
"Yes," Grey says, "Claud spotted them."
Claudia sits next to me.
"Is Grey in our family already?" she asks. She always asks the funniest questions.
"No," Grey laughs, "Why?"
"Well," Claudia says, "If you get married, you'll be in this family."
"She's sort of part of the family already, Claud," I tell her.
"She's my favorite member of our family," Claudia says, standing up.
Grey hugs her.
I smile.
"Marcel," Claudia says, "Take a picture of us hugging!"
I take out my phone.
"Okay," I say, taking a picture.
Grey is bent over, hugging little Claudia.
I take the photo.

I smile, "Got it."

Grey POV

When I'm finally home, my phone starts ringing.
I pick it up, "Hello?"
"Grey! Where have you been?" Macy's voice, "You haven't answered your phone."
"Oh," I say, "I was with Marcel and Claudia."
I hear her smiling, "Aww, how was it? Fun?"
"Fine," I say, "We had fun."
"What kind of fun?" Macy says.
"Macy!" I scold, "How many times do I have to tell you that we're just friends."
"Well," Macy says, "Everyone knows he wants to be more than friends. And I know you secretly do too."
"I do not!" I say.
"Okay..." she says sarcastically.
"I need to finish my homework," I say, "Bye!"
"Bye!" she responds. I hang up.
She's always wanted Marcel and I to be more than friends. Apparently Marcel likes me, but I think Macy is crazy.
I don't want to risk our friendship. I just want to be friends... right?
