******Katrina's P.O.V*****

Today is supposed to be a happy day! I'm supposed to feel happy! It's my birthday! I'm turning 18 ! So why the hell do I feel like crap! I don't wanna celebrate, I just wanna stay in my bed for the rest of the day! I don't party, I don't wanna fake a smile and pretend to be happy cuz I'm NOT!

"good you're awake! Good morning birthday girl" mom said when she entered my room

"Morning mom" I replied

"Come on! Get out of that bed! You have a big day ahead of you" mom said

"I don't feel like leaving the bed" I said

"What do you mean by that? You're supposed to be jumping around! You're turning 18!You always have been dreaming about your 18th birthday! " mom said looking confused

"I just don't feel like partying!" I said

"Is this about niall ?" Mom asked

"No !!.....maybe" I said "I just wanted him to be here, I can't be that happy when someone I love is not with me and he's obviously facing a real problem! He's been in Ireland for a long time and he couldn't solve this issue! It must be something really serious! ....I just feel bad" I said

" I know it's hard but you have a lot of people here who love you and wanna celebrate with you! You can't let them down! So many people have been waiting for this party you don't wanna disappoint them do you?" Mom asked

"No I don't" I replied

"And I'm sure niall has a good reason for missing the ball, now come on show me that beautiful smile and jump out of that bed" mom said smiling

i got out of bed, and I went to the kitchen to have breakfast!

"Morning birthday girl" both Eleanor and Louis screamed

"Happy birthday to you. ...Happy birthday to you" both liam and zayn started singing , they made me smile

"Happy birthday kate!!!" Perrie said smiling

" Can't believe you're turning 18 !!!! You're growing Up" mary said

"Thank you guys! You're so sweet! " I said smiling at them

We sat down around the table and started eating! I thought harry would show up but he didn't.

"Harry is still asleep? " I asked

"No, he got out early! I asked him where he was heading but he didn't answer" louis said

"He seemed a bit angry..." perrie said

"He wasn't mad, he was....he seemed sad ..." Eleanor added

Could he be mad of what I said him yesterday???? Was I too harsh om him ?? No! No I wasn't ! What I said was completely normal!

"So what are you guys doing for the day? " I asked

"Getting ready for your party of course" Louis said

"Zayn and I will go shopping, we need masks for the masquerade ball" perrie said

"we're doing the same" louis said

"We should go too" liam said to mary

"So you're basically leaving me alone? " I said smiling

"You can come if you want to"zayn said

"Obviously it's couple day, so me coming alone would be a bit awkward" I said

"No it's totally fine" liam said

"it's okay guys! You go have fun I have things to do anyway, see you at the ball" I said

The boys went with their girlfriends to shop, and I was sitting alone in the garden, all what was going through my head was harry, , did he go? Is he mad at me? So I called him to see what was really going on.

"Hey harry it's. .." he didn't let me finish " Good morning kate! "

"Morning harry!" I replied

"What's up?" He asked

"Nothing.....it's just you didn’t show up this morning" i said

"I needed some fresh air" he replied

"You ok?" I asked

"Yes I am! Why wouldn't I be?" He asked back

"Because Perrie and Eleanor said you were angry today" I explained

"I'm fine kate ....Thanks for the concern though" he said

"Im glad you're fine" I said

"Never been better! See you tonight dance partner" he said

"Yeah! See you" I replied

Everything for the party his ready, people start arriving,they are a lot! I don't know why I'm feeling so nervous! I've performed in front of thousands of people before and I never felt like this.

It was minutes before I have to go out and do the stupid dance with harry, I haven't seen him all day long! I haven't seen him since what I said to him yesterday!

"You ready?" Mary asked

"No !!!! I don't wanna go out" I said

"Believe me you want to" mary said smiling

"I don't wanna dance. ...especially not with harry" I said

"You're gonna love this dance so much! It will be like a movie ...trust me" mary said

"You don't even like harry! I thought you would hate this more than I do" I said and I was so confused what's wrong with her?

"Come on now it's time" mom said "happy birthday sweetheart" she added and then she gave me a kiss

"Happy birthday baby girl!" Dad said giving me a huge hug and kiss

"You know how it goes right? " mom asked

"Yes! I walk downstairs and I find harry waiting for me! We walk to the the ball room we do the dance and it's over!" I said smirking

"That's it!" Mom said

"OMG! I can't wait I'm so excited to see your reaction" mary said

"What the heck is going with you? " I asked

"You'll see" she said smiling

I got out of the room, I was walking the long stairs, when I got closer to the end of it I was looking for harry but he wasn't there instead there was a blonde guy !!! I couldn't see his face cuz it was covered with the mask! When I got closer it looked like......It looked like Niall !!!! No !!!! It can't be! I'm obviously dreaming! I've been thinking about him so much and now I'm imagining him here! I closed my eyes and I opened them again and the blonde guy was still there!!! It's not a dream! I finally arrived at the end of the stairs

"Happy birthday beautiful! "He said then he took my hand and kissed it

"'Niall ??????!!" I asked

"surprise" he said smiling

"Oh my God !!!!! I can't believe this! I'm dreaming aren't I ?" I asked, right after I said that Niall gave me a kiss, when I felt his lips,the taste of them....I knew it wasn't a dream

"still feels like a dream?" He asked

"If it's a dream. ..then I don't wanna wake up! If it's real I wanna another kiss" I said smiling

Niall pressed his lips on mine again and iwas feeling incredible, that kiss was everything I needed

"Come on now you have a dance to do" mom yelled

"Do you even know how to dance? " I asked

"I do! I'm a pretty good dancer actually" he said smiling

We went to Dance floor and Niall killed it , he was so good, after we did the traditional dance, it was time for a slow dance, Niall put his hands around my waste and I put mine around his neck,we were so close.

"You said you won't be able to make it yesterday? " I asked him

"I wanted it to be a surprise! I could never leave you alone in a day like that" he said smiling " you liked my surprise didn’t you?" He added

"I loved it! Best surprise ever!" I said "but next time don't do that! I felt horrible you when you told me that you won't make it" I added

"I'm here now" he said

"Does that mean that you solve your problem?" I asked

"I wish I did but unfortunately I didn't" he said

"You're not gonna tell me what is it?" I asked

"Tonight you should be happy cuz it's your birthday, let's leave the problems and the bad things for later" he said

"Then shut up and kiss me" I said

*********Eleanor P.O.V********

"I'm so tired of dancing can we stop? " I asked Louis

"But I wanna dance" he said

"Okay then, , I'm gonna get a drink and I'll be back " I said

"You better hurry cuz the Spanish ladies are gonna take me away from you" he said smirking

"LOU !!!!!!"I screamed

"Just joking babe"he said

I went to the mini bar and I saw harry sitting there

"Hey harry" I said

"Oh hey Ele" he replied

"What are you doing here all alone? A guy like you should be out there dancing with the ladies" I said smiling

"What's the point of dancing when you're not doing it with someone you like" he replied and he seemed so sad

"I'm so sorry that you and kendall broke up! The guys were saying that you're dealing pretty well with it..I guess they were wrong" I said

"Have you ever loved somebody but the time was off.....way off?" Harry asked me

"What?" I said

"You see someone you really love with somebody else and you know you can love them more than that away Much more....what would you do in a situation like that? " he asked again

"I think if two people are meant to be together then they will end up together eventually" I answered

"you think? " he asked

"Yes I do! Now get up and let's go dancing! I'm sure a lot of girls would love seeing you out there" I said smiling

"What if the girl I like doesn't want me?" He asked

"Then she's Crazy! Anyone who doesn't wanna be with you is absolutely crazy! Billions of girls are dreaming of having you! you're an amazing person harry and this girl probably doesn't worth it" I said

"Now let's dance! Louis must have gone crazy cuz I'm so late! Come on Harry let's go" I said
