Ella's P.O.V
"Beep! Beep! Beep!" My alarm went off. I swear one of these days i'm going to kill it. Like hit it with an hammer, take all the broken pieces, and put it in an incinerator, type of kill it . . . Guess I have to get up now. Why can't school start at like 1 o'clock in the afternoon. I bet they would get so much less "mad at everything that has to do with school" students. It would be a pretty smart idea. Wow it's like 6:54, I've got to get dressed. Okay, what to wear. I guess I'll just put on a tee-shirt and some jeans.
"Ella, come on your going to be late!". My mom shouted. She was probably in the kitchen.
"Okay! Hold on i'm getting dressed.". I said back, putting on my pants. It's so late, I'm gonna have to hurry, I have to leave in like 8 minutes. Mentally talking to yourself takes up alot of time, I guess.
"Ella!" My mom yelled in a warning type of tone.
"Yeah, I'm coming! I'm coming." I yelled, walking out of my room. I noticed most of our stuff wasn't on the walls anymore. Wow, we really are leaving tomorrow. I wonder what it will be like to live in England. I'll have to ask Harry what it was like to live there. Oh my gosh, what if I get a British accent. That would be so cool, I'd probably never shut-up. But I'll miss America, even all those annoying people that can't stop talking about themselves. I hadn't even noticed that I walked into the kitchen until my mom said something.
"You want some toast? And hurry up we have to go, your almost late."
"Sure, and I know. But do you have to take me, I can go bye myself." I knew she was going to say no. But I just didn't want people questioning me on why I was with my mom.
"No, of course not. You and I both know what could happen if you went by yourself. If that ever happened I don't know what I would do." She replied, handing me my toast. I fell bad for her, having to deal with all of this stress, and having to start over in a different Continent. I hope I never have to deal with this when I'm older.
"Yeah, I know. C'mon, lets go." I sighed. "We're going to be late."
I could tell she was exhausted. As I finished my toast, we began to walk out to the car. Our car wasn't that old, but it wasn't that new either. It was a black 2008 Infinity. We got into the car and turned on the radio. It was pretty much silent except for the music playing in the back ground. It seemed as if we had nothing left to say, or so I thought.
"So you got any new boyfriends?" My mom asked, briefly looking over to me before turning her attention back to the road. Her question took me off-guard for a moment.
"Umm, no" It had now gotten a bit awkward for me, but I don't know about her.
"Okay" She said, kind of like she didn't believe me.
"I swear I don't!"
"Okay, okay I believe you." She may believe me, but I don't believe her.
"Oh look, were here." I said, unbuckling my seat-belt.
"No need to rush here."
"Oh there's plenty need to rush here." I replied, opening the car door.
"Love you! I'll come pick you up when schools out!" She yelled, starting to leave.
"Well love you too." I mumbled, looking around for Harry.
I was really gonna miss him, we had been friends for a while now. I wonder what Harry thought of our friendship. I mean he probably just thinks were friends, but it's nice to imagine.
"Hey Ella!" Harry shouted, walking over to me. Guess I didn't need to find him.
"Hey." I replied, giving a small wave. I really didn't want to tell him, he looked so happy today.
"So, what are you up to?" He asked, smiling a little bit.
"Oh nothing, just have some depressing news." I said, looking away. I didn't want to see his face. Well I always want to see his face. Not like that it's just, I don't know sometimes I think I need to save myself from my own mind.
"Oh, what is it?" He replied, shifting from one foot to another.
"I'm moving" I said, looking back over to his face. He looked kind of sad.
"Oh, why?"
"Can't say." I sighed. "I made a promise."
"But on a totally un-related note, where are you going for Christmas break?" I asked him, smiling.
"A place called Manchester, I don't think you've heard of it." I'm not exactly sure he caught on yet. He was still frowning.
"Oh, I've heard of it." I said, trying to hint on.
"Really." He said, looking up.
"I might just be moving there."
