Sarah's P.O.V
I woke up that morning surrounded by darkness
"Zayn!" I called out
"yes,ba-"
"Zayn, what is it?" I was worried more than ever
"Sarah, princess, don't get scared but-"
"but what?! I need to know now please"
"babe, your eyes" he said
"my eyes, what's wrong with my eyes?" I asked
"Zayn, where are you? I can't see"
"Sarah" I felt his hand squeeze mine
"you're blind"
I squeezed his hands tighter
I wanted to scream and cry, throw a tantrum like a child
but I couldn't
being blind prevented me of crying and I didn't think I had the strength to scream my lungs out, I still did want to talk
"are you okay?"
I felt Zayn's hand stroke my cheek
"I'm such a fuckup, my life is such a fuckup, but some got it worse" I answered
I heard him give a small gasp
where had that come from?
I told Zayn to leave me alone for a while
I needed to suffer alone for a while
I would never see his beautiful hazel eyes I fell in love with, never see my children, never see how beautiful they grow up to be
I'll never see Perrie's baby
or Sami's
or Jesus's
I'll never see how beautiful everything is around me
I'll never be able to capture the beauty of something on a camera
I'll never read a book again
Everything I loved.
Gone for me to never see again
but, like I said
some people have it worse.
"call Sami, please" I felt Zayn's surprise when he heard me
I heard his silent footsteps come up the stairs and into the room
"she's already here babe" he kissed my head like a father would kiss his daughter goodnight
"hey" Sami's voice.
"hey" I answered
"sit down on the bed if you like" I said
I felt her weight on a side of the bed
"where are ya, Sam?"
"here" her hand reached for my hand that was searching for her
I squeezed her hand tightly
"did you bring me sunglasses?" I asked jokingly
she let out a small laugh that was mixed with sadness
"sorry, I forgot" she said
"damn, imagine, I'll never read Harry Potter again or see Train in concert" I said
"I see you haven't lost the humor" she said
"shit! I'll never be able to see supernatural or Doctor Who again! oh,fuck no!"
Sami's laughter seemed to cheer me up
"how could you be so humorous?" I could hear her sniffles
"I got me some God, biatch" I smiled
"you know I'm atheist" she laughed
"my ass you're atheist" I said
"I'm sorry" she said
"don't be sorry, I should apologize, it was pretty bitchy of me to do what I did"
"yeah, well, it was pretty bitchy of you know how to do that"
"when did I date Voldemort?"
"you know who i'm talking about" she laughed
"hey, don't laugh too much your tummy is gonna hurt and then the baby is gonna start kicking" Sami was silent after that
"did Zayn tell you?" she asked
"fuck, you're seriously pregnant?" I asked excitedly
"how long? do you have a belly already? guide me hind or I might touch your boob"
Sami burst out laughing and said
"I don't have a belly yet, I've barely been pregnant for about a month"
"got a name for the baby yet?"
"if it's a girl, Sarah Amber Horan"
"and if it's a boy Sarah Alex Horan"
"no, we're gonna name him Niall Alex Horan"
"close enough" I muttered
Sami and I talked the rest of the afternoon after a while I felt Zayn's presence in the room
I made them laugh until I grew tired and had to go to sleep
