“Jan! Everyone already left, come on hurry up a little, love.” Liam whines behind my door, but I can’t tell him why am I taking this much time. I am trying my hardest to cover the crimson color from my eyes, but they aren’t really going away. Liam went back and changed his clothes, promising me that he will drive us there. He out of all of Zayn’s mates, was the only one invited.
I suppose because he’s the closest and because he’s the best man; but who cares? At least he’s going to be there to calm me lightly. “In a minute!” I yell back to him, as I flash a little blush on my cheeks. My skin seems to be out of colour, but I force the makeup shades to change this fact as much as possible.
Liam knocks again; just at the same time I open the door. “God, you’re so whiney!” He doesn’t reply, and all he does is scan my presentation (http://www.polyvore.com/spotlight_temptress/set?id=121259477&lid=3453986). “And you look incredibly beautiful.” I shake my head, just to avoid blushing, as we both walk down the stairs to his car. He slides the door open for me, as I thank him with a tiny smile.
“Promise me something?” I ask Liam, as he begins driving to the reserved restaurant. “Sure, tell me?” My right pair of fingers fidget with the ring that Zayn gave me. “Promise me that you’ll sit beside me when we reach?” He releases a little chuckle, before giving me a quick-approving look. “Where else would the best man sit, if not beside the maid of honour?” He jokes in a pretended serious tone, making me smile.
…At the Rover’s Restaurant…
“You have grown so much, child.” Zayn’s father, Yasser, hugs me with complete humbleness, and I nod during the action. “I’ve missed reading with you the newspaper columns about the finance ranges.” I tell him with a polite grin, as we drop the hug. “You can still do that, now that you’re here.” We both share a little laugh, as I proceed greeting the rest of the family.
Once I am done with the people I already know, a sophisticated lady smiles at me. “Jan, darling. This is Zayn’s aunt.” Zayn's mom introduces me to the lady. I nod as I shake her hand softly, while I keep greeting the rest. “Hello, doll face.” I giggle in shock, as I shake the hand of a male around my age. He is perfectly built, as his muscles are visible under his white-buttoned shirt. He has a light resemblance of Zayn, but he can never be a match to his beauty.
“(She interrupts politely) Forgive him on my behalf, love. He’s just a huge flirt.” I nod, as he groans a little, making me laugh. “I’m Janelle, and you are?” I nod slowly, emphasising for him to give me his name. “Shehroze, but feel free to call me Shero.” Okay, Shero it is. “Nice to meet you… Shero.” He licks his lips and smirks, while he pulls the chair for me to sit on. I look back at Liam who has already been seated beside Zayn’s aunt, so I shrug not minding me being seated beside Zayn’s cousin.
“Thank you.” I claim politely as I take the pulled out seat. “Anytime.” He smiles and so do I. He seems to be good to hang out with at this evening, because I certainly will not have a conversation with any of my family or Zayn. “I think you should sit in my place, Elle.” Zayn’s voice surprises me, as I glance at him in confusion.
“I’m fine just where I am. (I speak plastically to him) Don’t be silly, you and Perrie must be together, right ‘sis’?” She chokes on her water, but nods slowly. “I’ll miss you if you go.” She fake pouts at Zayn, twinkling her eyelashes in a way that I feel like ripping each one out. God, please be help me through this endless dinner.
