Roses and Thorns
Hey There. (12th Chapter)
Janelle's POV:

“What are you to doing here?” Perrie prompts her question in an investigative way, and I shrug at her. “I gave Elle her ice cream. The one we got from the market on the way back.” Perrie rolls her eyes in a negative appreciation, and speaks: “Why do you have to fill your bodies with such sugary substance! Sis, I don’t want to change your size fittings for your dress.” I felt assaulted by her statement, claiming that I am going to become obese just for a freaking piece of ice cream.
I won’t shut up any longer, it’s time to fire some coals at her. “(I smile plastically, and speak in pretended innocence) Oh come on Perr, you know I never gain or lose weight. (I take a bite from my stick, and proceed) As I remember, I was the one that ate so much and never seemed to gain an ounce, but you were the quite opposite.” She froze, as her lips slid apart from each other.
Perrie wasn’t fat either, but she has the body that makes her gain weight easily. She used to kill herself with workouts and unbelievable diets to maintain her well-structured physique. “(She smirks) Attitude much, Jan? Impressive to know that you have a voice now. But you know? I preferred the silent lamb you used to be.” I tried to calm my nerves as much as I could, but all I did was that I threw the ice cream into the sink and glided up the stairs.
I shut my door and breathed loudly, as my head spun from her daggering words. Just as I rested my head on the door, a knock was placed. I groaned not wanting to release my anger at Perrie, so I didn’t open up. “(He spoke in a calming matter, making me relax to his adorable tone) Elle, are you okay? Listen, I don’t want you to get offended by what Perrie said, okay? (He waits for me to reply, and when I don’t he proceeds) Elle? Are you in there?” I sigh slowly, as I straighten my figure, and twist the doorknob.
“Hey there.” He smiles in comfort, and it actually works. His arms stretch to hold my waistline, as he drags me closer to the outside. He finds a loose strand of hair, and packs it behind my ear softly. “You’re not fat, you never were even and you never will be. And so what if you become one day? You’ll still look beautiful, no matter how much you physically change… at least that’s how I see you.” I nod slowly, swimming my eyes into his own pair.
“I’m fine, don’t worry. But thanks for caring, Zayn.” He immediately replies: “I never stopped caring, just like I never stopped liking you.” His whispery voice electrifies my skin, and I could swear that his thumbs are drawing circles on my hips. This is not right; no we shouldn’t be standing like this. I wriggle my body off of his, and step backwards, making a space formation between us. Zayn looks at my action, as he scratches the back of his neck. If my memory doesn't fail me, he used to do this particular movement, every time he was nervous. Why would he be nervous around me?
“(I speak lowly) You should go um… spend time with Perrie.” I dismiss him in reality, but deep down I want to hover my body around his, and brush his cheeks with my hand in a gesture that only could happen in love stories. Love… he could never love me, he likes me yes, but never loved me. What am I blabbering about! “Elle, just come downstairs with me, please. I want to spend time with you too… that’s if you want to?” What can I possibly say to him now?
Do I tell him: Oh Zayn I want to do that every single minute of my life because I can’t bare breathing any air if it wasn’t the one surrounding you? Shut up Janelle, and be realistic; he never considered you as an option like you made him your only choice of being in love. “Alright, just give me a minute and I’ll follow you.” He nods, clearly still pinning his epic jewels at my blue eyes. “I never stopped waiting for you…and I'm not planning to start now.” With his shocking words, he glides down the stairs, leaving me shocked like a frozen rock.

Alright! A lot of action and tension for today's updates! :D I hope you enjoyed them, but keep in mind that they were written for a reason. For instance, Zayn and Janelle share a lot of feelings for each other, but clearly none of them has the courage to spill them out directly. Why? Simply because Zayn is a committed man now, and to who; Janelle's stepsister. :/ But you never know how the plot might twist later on, and cause a deviation in this path <3 (Y)
Questions for tomorrow: A studio? Who's pairing with who? Perrie feels sick? Janelle praying that she won't fall apart?! :O
