Let me tell you something about myself (although, I am guessing you already know plenty), I am an icon. As well as the most famous man on earth.

Now there might be some controversy, like what about Obama? Or Brad Pitt? Blah, blah, blah - that is all I think of that. You don't believe me? I'll make you believe me. Because that's what icons do, we make you believe that we're something we're not.

Us, icons are persuavive. We know exactly what to do and how to look to appeal to the public. Smiling is key, live life as if it is perfect, and transform yourself into a buoyant and blithe person that everyone likes watching. Because if you become an icon, the world is watching you. You symbolize something that people want to become.

There are many things that come with becoming an icon. Of course the publicity; there will never be another private (or dull) moment in your life. You will experience a whirlwind of emotions. You will meet the most amazing and horrible people. You will make millions of fans and millions of enemies.

But there are some cons to being famous too. You're constantly traveling and homesickness is hard to cope with. The changing of the time zones, languages, and customs is dizzying. And isolation is inevitable. We might be lonely people but it's all in the Fame.

As as a wise man once said (and yeah, I stole this from Harry Potter, bite me), "There is no good or evil, there is only power and those too week to seek it." And people with fame have great power; they are obviously not weak. So welcome to my world. Meaningless and insufficient. You have been introduced to the true Harry Styles.
