Rachel's P.O.V. "Oh god! What if you forget your words?"

I rolled my eyes. I had been practically forced to audition for x-factor by my two best friends Jack and Naomi but now that we were here Naomi was freaking out.

"I won't, promise" I told her casually.

"Why arent you freaking out?" She asked,running a hand through her hair.

I shrugged.

"I dont know. Im not a nervous person" I replied.

And I wasn't. I rarely got nervous. It wasn't that I was some super-confident person or anything, i just wasnt afraid to make a fool of myself.

Eventually my name was called.

I carried my guitar and hurried in to the judges.

I walked in, giving them a smile.

"Hello, whats your name?" Simon asked.

"Rachel" I replied, slinging my guitar strap around my neck.

"Where are you from?" Cheryl asked.

"Im from a smalltown in Mayo, the west of Ireland" I told her,which earned me a cheer.

"And what are you gonna sing for us?" Kelly gave a warm smile.

"We Are Never Getting Back Together"

"Okay go ahead" Simon encouraged.

I nodded and began singing.

I had made so many tweaks to the song that it didn't sound anything like the original. Thankfully the judges liked it.

By the time I reached the last note, all the judges had stood up and were clapping.

I found myself smile at that.

Once they had sat down it was time for a yes or no.

I bit my lip slightly as it started off with Louis.

"I loved it! I love how you put your own twist on it, I love how you were so relaxed while singing. You seemed to really enjoy it. You just seemed overall comfortable with the performance. Well done. Its a yes from me" Louis finished with a smile.

I smiled too.

"Thanks" I nodded.

Cheryl and Kelly both agreed with Louis and said yes.

However, when it came to Simon, I got a little worries.

His eye met mine and he held my gaze for a minute until his face broke into a smile.

"Its a yes from me!"
