Eighty-Four
Emma was quite tall and very blonde, much like her brother. She wore a short, tight fluro pink skirt and teamed it with a black midriff that showed off her belly piercing. She glared at Niall but didn't say anything as she hopped out of our way so that we could join the party. My Mum had given me the okay as long as I stuck to my 1am curfew. I was fine with that. I had the chance to spend time with Niall. That was the only thing that mattered.
She stopped us before we could even take one step inside. Obviously she'd realised that she didn't know me. She looked me up and down, giving me the once-over.
"Woah, hold up," she too had a strong Irish accent, "who's the spuggly dag?"
I wasn't quite sure what she meant by that but judging from the disgust in her voice, it didn't sound like much of a compliment.
Oddly enough, I wasn't intimidated by Emma. I guess it was because of the fact she reminded of Amber a little bit, back when we were close that is.
"Emma, be nice," Niall growled, "This is my girlfriend, Kaia. I invited her to your party as my date,"
She rolled her eyes.
"Who'd wanna go out with you?" she muttered as more of a statement than a question.
"Me," I raised my hand.
Niall rubbed my back affectionately.
"Don't worry, it's nothing personal. She's usually like this around new people. It's one of the best things about her,"
"Whatever. You're early. Hurry up and get inside. And don't talk to anyone,"
Gee, she was a real treasure, I laughed to myself sarcastically. It took me a second to realise that they weren't really brother and sister. Niall had been adopted by Aunt and Uncle. As a result, Emma was his cousin not his brother. It made a lot more sense really as they were really completely different people.
There were people everywhere with apparently more to come. The place was a mess compared to the state it had been in last time. Where the hell were her parents? Did they know about the party? Did they even care? I was thinking probably not.

So I gave up on Ghost obvs but I have a new story up now called Bravery which I think you guys might like because it's the same sort of thing but with a refreshing new twist :)
