Seventy-Four
I hated arguing with my Mum. I'd learnt the hard way that it wouldn't get me anywhere. If anything, the only outcome would be her yelling over the top of me to act my age and leave the subject alone. Even if my argument was valid, she wouldn't have a bar of it. I guess she was scared of being wrong. Maybe that's where I got it from.
Josh was sitting on the couch with his huge black suitcase. It took me a minute to remember why.
"Oh such a shame you're leaving. I just love your company," I scoffed sarcastically.
Mum shot me a look. I scowled back. I couldn't be happier that he was going home tonight.
"Alright, I'm going out for a bit. I won't be long. Behave yourself you two,"
No promises. Seriously, if she expected me not to murder him why would she leave us alone? If I was her, I wouldn't trust me.
"Stay away from me and no one will get hurt," I warned him as soon as she had left.
He rolled his eyes.
"Oh yeah,” he sneered, “like you could 'hurt' me,"
I couldn't believe he had just said that. Actually I did. I shook my head angrily as he got up and moved towards me. I swear to God, if he came any closer I would kick him in the balls. He was an idiot to doubt me.
I backed away until I hit the wall. I was about to make a run for the stairs but he was too quick. He positioned his hands so that they were on either side of my neck.
"Let me go!" I shouted with exasperation.
I tried to punch him in the stomach but he saw it coming and swung his whole body to the left while keeping his hands where they were.
"What do you want Josh!"
He didn't answer as his lips met with mine. My first thought was to slap him but as lifted my hand up, I was unable to raise it higher than my hip. His grip was tight and as much as I hated to admit it, I was weak. He knew how strong he was. I was just making a fool of myself by trying. I pulled away as quickly as I could, unable to breathe.

So I gave up on Ghost obvs but I have a new story up now called Bravery which I think you guys might like because it's the same sort of thing but with a refreshing new twist :)
