Broken Pieces

Introduction

I'm tired of this, just sitting around, watching as the hours tick by. Listen to the television, knowing no one's laugh will ever be as beautiful as hers. No one's eyes will ever shine as bright. No one's touch will ever be so soft, or mean so much to me. Everything just reminds me of her, what we used to have, what could've been, and what will never be.

One day I know I'll have to leave, to forget all of this. But it's to early, my heart is to sore. She was like my drug, my pain meds. I'm not sure how I can go on without her. I know she will never come back, not after what I did to her. I took her heart and left it in broken pieces.
