Danielle’s P.O.V

Our plane just landed and Rach and I were collecting our baggage when I heard an accent just like Niall’s.

“You must be Danielle.” I turn around to see Niall’s mother, Maura. I was so nervous now. I didn’t know she was picking me up from the airport. Niall must have told her.

“Yes I am. This is my sister Rachel. It’s so nice to meet you Ms. Gallagher.” I said extending
my hand.

“Oh dear please call me Maura.” She said pulling me in for a hug before doing the same to Rachel.

“Niall talks about you so much whenever we call him or when he Skypes us.” She said walking us to the car.

“I hope all good things.” I say and giggle a little. It was good to know I was on his mind a lot.

“Only the best. He really does love you. Oh and he didn’t do your beauty justice.” Maura said popping the trunk for us.

“Oh thank you. I love him very much.” I say getting into the passenger side while Rachel hopped into the back.

“I know I can see it in your eyes.” She said and I blushed. Can everyone tell?

“I know it is so cute how they look at each other.” Rachel said from the back.

“Oh I can’t wait to see it in person. Niall told us how much he liked you but knowing him he wouldn’t do anything because you are Harry’s little sister. I’m finally glad he asked you out.” Maura said and Rachel started to laugh from the back seat. I giggled but tried to hold it in.

“What’s so funny dears?” Maura asked confused.

“She is the one who asked him out. She practically told him to go out with her.” Rachel said in-between laughs.

“Really? He told me otherwise. Well thanks for forcing him to make a choice. I don’t think he would be as happy as he is these days.” I couldn’t help but smile at what Maura said.

“So Niall said that the hotel he booked us in is on the edge of Dublin. He didn’t give me an address.” I said changing the subject.

“Nonsense. There will be no hotel. You are family, you too Rachel so you will be staying at our house. We will make Niall go to his dad’s house to get ready for the wedding. I want to help you with everything.” Maura said. She was so kind.

“Thanks so much. I need as much help as I can get. My parents aren’t really on board with the whole marriage thing as well as the pregnancy.” I said letting my head drop a bit.

“Oh you poor girl. Well I’m not your mum but I’m here if you need me. I was shocked at the news about the pregnancy and apprehensive about the rushed wedding but when he told me about the pregnancy I can’t lie, I was disappointed in him but I was happy he was taking responsibility for his actions. Then whenever he called he couldn’t stop talking about you and what you guys did in Spain and well it just made me see how much he really loves you and I see how he wanted to make you his wife as soon as possible. He has never talked about a girl before like he talks about you. I have no doubt that he only has eyes for you and will do anything for you.” Maura said and I was crying. It was so sweet of her to say and well it didn’t help that I was over hormonal now.

“Thanks. You don’t know how much that means to me. I have really only had Rachel this past month other than that I have just been living at Niall’s. It has been hard but I just know that even though it’s hard now that he is worth it. Everything will be perfect.” I said as we pulled into a beautiful house.

Maura pulled me into a huge hug once we were out of the car. “You won’t have to go through this alone. You have me now and the rest of the Horan family is here for you too.” She said.

“So what are you craving for dinner dear? I know being pregnant you crave weird things so let me know and I will get it for you.” Maura said she has been so kind since I have been here. As well as Niall’s dad Bobby. They have all been so welcoming and accepting.

“I could really go for anything Italian right now actually.” I said and smiled. I was sure having some weird cravings lately but this the first time I have craved normal food.

“Of course dear.” Maura said as she walked into the kitchen and started to make dinner. I really did love it here.

“How are you doing?” Rachel asked walking into the living room.

“I’m doing pretty well. I feel better here. More happy. Niall’s mum is so nice and she has been helping out a bunch. Not going to lie once all Niall gets here I will feel better. Oh and the girls. Once they get here I will have a little more help.” I said smiling up at Rach who soon took the spot next to me.

“I know that it will be beautiful. Niall would spare no expense to make this wedding princess material.” She said pulling me into her side.

“I know but I don’t like when he spends so much money on me. He should just keep it. I don’t need an extravagant wedding I just need him.” I said. “I need you and Harry too you know.” I added when I saw her face drop a little bit.

“You always know what I’m thinking about.” She said. “What am I thinking about now?” She asked and this just turned into a game.

“Louis.” I said and stared right at her.

“Ok no I wasn’t.” She said and blushed a deep red.

“Don’t deny it you always think about him. Besides he is going to be here on Wednesday early in the morning with the others so you will get to see him soon.” I said to her because I knew she has been anxious for a while now.

“Ok… ok. What do you want to do tomorrow?” Rachel asked flipping through the channels.

“Well I have to go to the venue and make sure everything has arrived safely and then I have to check in at the dress shop if they got all the dress in and that when the girl arrive tomorrow they can go for a last and final fitting and I have to make sure I haven’t gained too much weight to fit into my dress.” I said to her.

“Oh ya the girls are coming in tomorrow. It’s just too bad that Abby couldn’t be in the wedding party. I know you wanted her to be here but on the bright side she will be there for when you tie the knot.” She never said I was getting married she always said tying the knot. It sounded like a deed I had to do.

“You know it sounds so strange when you say that. I’m getting married it sounds so weird when you refer to it as a knot.” I said as she stuck her tongue out at me.

“You two are so close it’s so cute. Oh and dinner is ready.” Maura said before we followed her into the kitchen and sat down and ate. It felt really nice to be here with all the people I love.

I just got out of the shower and into my pajamas when I walked to the room Rach and I were sharing when I heard Rachel talking to someone. Louis. I decided to just listen to their conversation.

“I know I just miss you a lot.” Rachel said as a hint of sadness laced her voice.

“I know and I miss you too. We are coming real early on Wednesday and I can’t wait to hold you in my arms. It has been torture mot being able to hold you but we knew what we were getting into trying to make this work.” He said. I sighed at his cute words.

“I will be there in the airport waiting for you.” Rachel said back.

“I will count down the minutes till I see you but for now goodnight Rachel. I know it has to be late in Mullingar.” He said and he was right it was almost midnight.

“I know. Well good luck with your interview tomorrow and I can’t wait to see you again.” Rachel said.

“Don’t tell Dani anything till we know for sure ok?” I heard Lou say from the other end of the line.

“I won’t but I can’t keep this from her she deserves to know.” Rachel said and I god concerned. It was probably just a mix up in the flight times.

“I know just wait. There is no need to concern her if we don’t have to. She already has a lot on her plate.” He said and they said goodbye.

“That was too cute for words.” I said bursting into the room.

“How long have you been listening?” She asked with a concerned look.

“Long enough.” I said giving her a half smile.

“I’m so sorry Dani.” She said and I just looked at her really confused.

“What do you mean Rachel?” I said and she covered her mouth with her hand.

“You didn’t hear the whole conversation did you?” She said then shaking her head.

“Spill it Rachel. What’s going on?” I tried to say softly but who was I kidding I was hormonal and I knew she was about to give me some bad news.

“It’s Niall.” She said and looked at me.

“Is he ok? Is he hurt? What is going on? Tell me?” I said at the verge of tears.

“I know I wasn’t supposed to tell you but I have to.” She said looking at me and motioning at me to sit down.

“Spit it out Rachel!” I said in a harsh tone not sitting down.

“Niall, he wanted to surprise you and so he talked management into letting him skip the interview and so he was catching a flight for tonight so he would be here around noon tomorrow. They… they lost communication with the plane. They don’t know where it is or if something is wrong. They are trying their best to locate the plane.” Rachel said with tears in her eyes.

I collapsed on the ground and screamed out in agony. My heart had just been broken. The tears were falling from my eyes and sobbed and let out even more screams of agony. My head was pounding and I felt the world fall from underneath me and that’s when everything went black.

Sorry for the late update. University has been hectic lately but i'm almost done!

Oh a cliff hanger! So you think Niall is going to be ok? Will he make it to his own wedding? Let me know what you think.
