Abby POV

I walked briskly through the terminal towards the baggage claim my heels clacking on the floor. Erica hurried behind me talking constantly.
"EEEH!!! I cant believe were in Ireland. I cant wait to see Rachel and Danielle and Harry!" She squeals.
I roll my eyes at her puppy crush on Harry.
Waiting for our bags I text Rachel.

To: Rachel
Where should we meet you guys? Niall's house or the hotel?

Rachel quickly replied.

To: Abby
The hotel we're all here.

Retrieving the car I rented Erica and I set out on the hour drive to Mullingar. By the time we reached the hotel I was about ready to climb the walls. Erica had talked the entire time. I sighed in relief when I pulled up in front of the hotel. Entering the lobby I saw the girls hanging out on the couches.
"Danielle!" I exclaimed giving her a big hug.
"How have you been? Are you excited or nervous?"
Danielle just looks at me sadly.
"What's wrong?" I ask furrowing my forehead. "If Niall has done something I'll beat his ass."
"Niall flew out early to surprise Danielle and they lost the plane." Rachel explained.
"Lost a plane? Lost a plane? How the hell do you lose a plane?" I asked shaking my head.
I gave Danielle another hug before hugging Rachel, Austinn and Lizzie. I came up to a girl I only recognized from pictures.
"You must be Kendall?" I asked.
She noded and gave me a light hug.
"I'm Abby by the way."
I heard Erica clear her throat behind me.
"Oh Lizzie, Austinn, Kendall this is my little sister Erica."
"Hey Erica, how have you been?" Rachel asked giving her a hug. "Abby I didn't know you were bringing your sister."
I shrugged.
"She threatened to cut my hair off in my sleep if I didn't bring her. Something about Danielle being like her older sister and not wanting to miss it for the world. I think she just wanted to see Harry."
"Hey!" Erica exclaimed.
"It's true you have had a crush on him since you were 10."
"But I'm not the one who dated him."
"Erica! We don't talk about that?"
"Don't talk about what?" I hear Harry say behind me.
"Harry!" Erica exclaims jumping on him.
Once Harry got himself detached from Erica he asked again.
"Don't talk about what?"
"Us dating." I said simply.
Harry blushed a deep shade of red.
"Yeah Erica, your sister and I are trying to forget that ever happened."
I saw most of the girls confused.
"Erica and I lived with the Styles' for a year and a half when I was 12 because my dad was the military attaché to Egypt. While we were there Harry and I dated for a week and a half because everyone kept pushing us together. After 3 dates we called it off it was too awkward we are more like siblings. Anyways Harry and I like to pretend it never happened which is easy since Harry never worked up the nerve to kiss me." I explained.
Harry turned a deeper shade of red.
We were saved from the awkward moment by Louis bursting into the lobby.
"Abby!" He exclaimed picking me up and spinning me around.
"How are you? We've all missed you. Why did you have to leave so early from Spain?"
I grinned shaking my head.
"Auditions were in a couple of days and I needed time to think."
Seeing Zayn behind Louis I gave him a hug as well.
"Well you must be Liam. I've hear a lot about you." I hear Erica start to talk a lot.
Turning I see Liam standing hesitantly and quietly. Freezing I look him over. He looks tired and worn out. I smile slightly at him.
"You have, have you?" Liam asks Erica.
"Yep Abby wont shut up about you about how your cute and sweet and funny and adorable and a monster in bed." Erica exclaims waggling her eyebrows suggestively at the last comment. I hear Danielle gasp and look at me in shock. Oooops I might have forgotten to tell her that detail when recounting our date. Liam looks at me with raised eyebrows.
"Erica!" I exclaim.
"Abby can we talk?" Liam asks quietly.
I nod agreeing and pull Liam somewhere private.
"Okay first of all I didn't tell Erica anything especially about our date. She asked and when I didn't answer she took silence as consent." I say really quickly.
Liam just steps forward and engulfs me in his arms. I find myself relaxing into his arms.
"How have you been? Did you get my messages?" Liam asks.
I nod Liam had been calling me before every show and often during the week and leaving voicemails to encourage me.
"I've been good. The show has taken a good chunk of my time so I haven't started university yet. How have you been?" I asked concerned.
Liam just shrugs his shoulders sitting down on the piano bench. In my haste I had pulled him into one of the empty salons. I sat down next to him.
"Have you been getting enough sleep? How about food?" I ask concerned.
Liam just looks at me.
"Why did you leave?" He asks so soft I can barely hear him.
I sigh knowing I would have to explain at one point.
"I can't pinpoint the reason exactly. I had tried to go earlier in the week but Danielle has stopped me. I was just so confused and I didn't know what to do and this," I said gesturing between the two of us. " It came on so fast. I agreed to go with Danielle to catch up and I never expected to fall in love and.."
Liam cut me off with a kiss. Pulling away after a moment I looked at him confused.
"What was that for?"
"You said you loved me." He said with a slight smile.
I put my hand to my mouth. Did I really just let it slip.
"Abby will you be my girlfriend?" Liam said getting on his knees in front of me and grasping my hands. "Please, please and don't say know. I didn't agree to hang with the boys to fall in love either. I was fresh off of getting my heart broken and I wasn't looking for love but it just creped in. Abby please say you'll be with me. I love you, I love you and I know it sounds like a cheesy clique but I don't care who knows it." Liam implored from me.
I looked down at him and a tear streaked down my face.
"Liam I don't think I can. It's just.....ugh." I say shaking my hair in front of my face so he doesn't see my tears.
"Please Abby." Liam implores sounding like he is going to cry. "Whatever it is we can work it out."
I shook my head. Liam dropped my hands slowly and sat on the bench next to me.
"Then Abby please explain. I need to know.....know why you cant love me." Liam said his voice cracking on the last word.
I looked at him out of the corner of my eye.
"It sounds selfish really but its life Liam. Being your girlfriend means so much more then you think it does. It means dealing with more paparazzi, more nosy questions, more hate and to tell the truth it could ruin my career."
Liam looks at me confused.
"It has to do with respect. How will people look at it if I do make it and I am your girlfriend. They will say I didn't make it because I could do it but because of who you are." I said explaining.
"Then we keep it a secret." Liam says point blank hope beginning to stir in his eyes.
"Yes we keep it a secret. We live our relationship away from the paparazzi, away from the cameras. As far as the press if concerned we'll just be friends but then we can be together." Liam says exclaiming standing up and pacing in front of me. I considered the possibility a secret relationship hadn't occurred to me. Though it should have with Austin and Harry doing it. I started to smile. I stood up and went to stand in the middle of the area Liam was pacing putting my hands on his chest to stop him. I looked dup into his eyes so full of hope.
"If you promise to keep it a complete secret my answer is yes." I say kissing him softly.
Liam pulls me the rest of the way to him.
"I....swear....cross....my.....heart......hope.......to....die." Liam says kissing me between words. I smile when he leans in to kiss me and this time he doesn't pull away.
Rachel clearing her throat brought us out of our make-out session.
Turning we see Rachel and Louis in the doorway.
"'bout time." Louis mutters. Rachel swats him and then Louis hands Rachel 20 pounds. Rachel smirking takes the money.
"Everyone is waiting. If you and Erica can get checked in we're going to go to dinner."
"Okay." I say smiling. "Oh and were you guys betting on whether we would make-up or not?"
"Maybe." Rachel says smirking before leaving.
"Do you think they know?" Liam asks
"I'm pretty sure they do Liam. They caught us." I say.
Liam looks shocked.
"Do you think they'll tell?" He asks.
I laugh at his childness.
"Not if we tell them not to." I say pulling out my phone.
"Ill text them in a minute but first I need to get checked in."
"Don't just stay with me." Liam says almost whining. "If you stay with me we can have some fun tonight." He says waggling his eyebrows.
"Liam James Payne!" I say hitting him in the stomach. He pretends to double over but he is laughing. " I cannot just leave my 16 year old sister in a hotel room by herself and no way can Erica know were dating she has a mouth faster then a sports car."
Liam looks at me.
"Easy fix say you're staying with Danielle because of Niall."
I roll my eyes and walk out to join the others.
"Erica I am staying with Danielle because of Niall do you think you can spend 3 nights by yourself?" I ask.
Danielle looks at me confused so I send her a wink and she nods her head. I feel a pang in my chest at seeing Danielle look so destitute. I feel Liam come up behind me and rest his elbows on my shoulders.
"I need you now." He growls in my ear sending goose bumps down my neck. I nod to let him know I heard.
"Absolutely!" Erica exclaims. "I didn't want to have to deal with you hogging the bathroom anyways."
After making sure Erica was safe and checked in Liam dragged me to his room claiming he had something he had to show me.
I was pretty sure I knew what that something is. As soon as he got to door closed he pushed me against it kissing me.
"Wait wait." I said as Liam was softly kissing my neck in a way I knew was going to leave a mark. I was going to have to talk to him about that later. "Theres something I have to do really quickly." I said pulling out my phone.
"Hurry." Liam growled.
Opening up a new message I addressed it to everyone. After typing it out I hit send and gave myself up to Liam.

To: Danielle, Rachel, Austin, Lizzie, Niall, Harry, Zayn, Louis
Yes Liam and I are dating. However we, for personal reasons are keeping it a secret don't tell anyone outside of this conversation especially not my sister.

Hope you guys liked it. I wanted to explain why Abby ran and because I couldn't deal with them ignoring things anymore I put everything out in the open :)
