Danielle’s P.O.V

It’s been so long since I have seen all my friends. Too long in fact. I have seen the boys because early this month they came back to London for a Red Carpet event and Niall wanted me to go with him. It was great until the time Harry, Niall and I sat down and well I finally had to tell my parents that I was engaged and pregnant. They already knew about Niall and I dating and well they yelled at me at first they accepted us dating and well let’s just say they didn’t know about the rest.

*Flashback*

I walked into my parents’ house after the Red Carpet event that Niall took me too and I was so tired but I had so much fun. Now I had to tell my parents about everything so my mood was taking a turn in the opposite direction from happy.

Harry walked through the front door first followed by myself then Niall followed right behind me. Harry was pulled into big hugs all around.

“You look stunning! Did you have fun Sweetie?” My mum asked giving me a quick hug.

“Thanks mom. Niall surprised me by buying me the dress and yes I had lots of fun. Oh and Rachel?” I turned to her.

“Yes Dani?” She turned and smiled at me.

“Louis said to say he was sorry for not making it because he said he misses you bunches. He and the other guys had to go meet up with someone to start talking about their next album.” I said and her face dropped a little. Our parents knew about both of us dating Harry’s friends.

“That’s ok.” She said. I knew she was looking forward to seeing him.

“Um Rachel, Harry. Could you give Niall and me some time to talk to mum and dad?” They nodded but I knew they would be close by if things escalated.

“Ok but were here if you need us.” Harry said before Rachel and Harry gave me a hug and then Harry placed a hand on Niall’s shoulder before they left the room.

“What’s going on Danielle?” My mum asked me with a concerned look while dad just stood there looking at Niall with a hardened expression.

“You might want to take a seat for this mum.” I said and she took a seat looking at me with a confused expression and dad came and sat beside her.

“So I don’t know how to put this.” I said and Niall took my hands in his to let me know he was there for me as we sat on the couch opposite my parents.

“You know you can tell us anything dear.” My mum said giving me a reassuring smile while my dad still looked stone cold.

“Niall and I are engaged.” I said softly trying to walk on eggshells for this topic.

“Danielle what do you think…..” My dad started before my mum put a hand on his knee and stopped him from talking.

“Dear we wish you would wait till you were older but we can no longer tell you what to do. We certainly can’t tell you who you should love. I know how much Niall loves you. I could have predicted this happening for a while. He always had a sparkle in his eye when he saw you from the beginning and you never looked at your other boyfriends like you look at him.” My mum said making me breathe a sigh of relief.

“You had me worried for a bit. I thought you were going to tell me you were pregnant or something.” She laughed in relief but I just gave her a look that confirmed the worst.

“Oh Danielle what have you done?” She looked at me and then to Niall who had put his arm around me.

“You young lady are a disgrace to this family! We are already watched by the media as it is and now you have to go and get yourself pregnant!” My father stood up in anger.

“I’m not worried with the media. I can deal with them. I’m worried I’m going to lose you guys.” I said and my mum looked at me but my dad couldn’t meet my eye.

“You! You did this to my daughter! You are never to see him again and don’t even think about a wedding because we are going to the doctor tomorrow and making this right before anyone finds out.” My dad yelled making me start to cry.

“Look I know. This is my fault but I’m dealing with this and respecting her choices and right now she doesn’t need your acceptance she needs your support.” Niall finally spoke up next to me.

“She is only eighteen!” My father yelled at him.

“And I only just turned twenty. You don’t think I wanted to have a long, normal relationship before anything like this happened?” Niall said trying to calm down.

“Well because of your recklessness my daughter has to go through this.” My father yelled again.

“Dad! This is not Niall’s fault. If anything it’s mine. I was the one who asked him to give us a chance. It’s my fault I was way too drunk to make clear decisions. It’s my fault because that night Niall was also drunk but I made him come to my room. I made those decisions. We were both drunk that night and we made bad decisions but we don’t regret them so all I’m asking is for your support.” I said. My parents just looked at us.

“We both support her.” Harry said and he and Rachel came back into the room. They knew I needed them.

“You support this?” Dad practically spat at Harry. Mum hasn’t looked up from her hands. She is still crying.

“To tell you the truth at first I didn’t and then I could see that if I kept punishing her and pushing her away and looking at her like you are now I would lose my sister. That was something I couldn’t let happen. I love Danielle and yes she made a bad choice but now she is owning up to it and taking responsibility and I support her and her decisions.” Harry said in a calm manor.

“You too Rachel?” Father spat at her as well.

“Yes she is my sister. Yes she did something stupid but she has been punished enough for it don’t you think? She is not looking for you to accept everything she does she is just looking to her parents who gave birth to her, to support her.” She said and I gave her a weak smile and she returned it.

“We want her to have love and support around her while she goes through this process because neither I nor Harry will be here for the majority of it. If you can’t support her then we want to put her in an environment that will make her more comfortable. Harry and I have already talked about this.” Niall said and I looked him in the eyes with a questioning look before understanding he was doing this for me. He knew if I was too stressed out it wouldn’t be good for the pregnancy.

“If you are not going to support us then I don’t want you at the wedding because I want it to be a happy event. If you can find it in your hearts to support me then please come. There is a plane ticket in each invitation. The wedding will be in Ireland on a vineyard. I really want you to be there.” I said before walking upstairs with Harry, Niall and Rachel to pack a bag because I was moving out.

*End Flashback*

It has been three weeks since I moved out and Rachel has come by Niall’s almost every day. She has helped a lot with the wedding and making sure that everything was ready for the next week.

I was flying out to Ireland today to get ready for the wedding on Friday. I was meeting Niall’s parents for the first time and I was nervous but Niall said that they already loved me.

Rachel was on her way to pick me up so we could go to the airport and fly out. The rest of the girls were going to meet us out there during the week. The boys would be flying out Wednesday and would be arriving Thursday. The only one just showing up for the wedding then leaving was Abby. She had done really well on the X-Factor and I was happy for her but I knew she was using it as an excuse now to keep running from everyone who loved her.

As I let my thoughts wonder I lost track of time and a car honking outside took me out of my own mind. I grabbed all my stuff and headed to Rachel with the car waiting outside. I hopped in and we were off. I was going to be happy with or without my parents because everyone there supported me and that’s all I need.
