Its My Fault

Harry's POV


Lizzie texts me saying her dad locked her in her room and left. I'm gonna get her out she's my friend. I have Zayn and Liam with me to help sneak her out. I'm worried, her dad is not a pleasant person. I can't imagine him drunk.
"Mate we ready? Zayn asks shoving a small pocket knife into his pocket.
"In a sec we can. Liam! Come on!" I yell to him.
We get in my car and we drive down the familiar road that leads to Lizzie's house. When we pull into the driveway I start digging around in my pocket trying to find the copy of the mater key Lizzie gave me.
"C'mon mate its the middle of the night." Zayn takes the key from my hand.
"Lizzie said he doesn't get home until early in the morning." I explain to them I get out of the car and motion for the boys to get out. I walk up to the door and take the key from Zayn. I silently put the key in the hole and turn it slightly. I hear the tumblers turn and I open the door. I walk into the house and up the stairs, hoping the other boys are following.
"Damnit!" I yell when I run face first into her bedroom door.
"Harry?" I hear Lizzie on the other side of the door.
"Don't worry I have a key." I slide the key in and open the door.
"Harry!" As soon as the door opens she engulfs me in a hug.
"Come Liz let's go out. I'll have you home before your dad gets here, I promise.
"Okay...Harry I'm scared..." She stands in her doorway like if she leaves she'll be shot dead.
"Don't be, Liam and Zayn are both downstairs." I pick her up and carry her bridal style down the stairs.

All three of us get into my car. Lizzie doesn't talk I know she's worried. Who wouldn't be. I hate her living with her dad, he doesn't care about her, I do though I care more about her than...Than...My life...She makes me feel...Different...Like...Like I can fly...I don't only care for her, I think I love her...
"Mate! I asked you a question!" Liam snaps at me.
"Yea what is it?" I ask still dazed from my recovery.
"What time are we taking her home? I mean I don't want her to leave, she shouldn't be with him..." Zayn nobs his head in agreement.
"Guys I know, But do you want to be charged with kidnap?" Liam looks at me sadly and then at Lizzie.

I pull into starbucks, Lizzie wanted a coffee before she went home.
"Thanks!" She takes a drink.
"Its a coffee, Don't thank me." I laugh at her
"No I mean thanks, for helping me..." Lizzie looks at with sad blue eyes.

We drive in silence back to Lizzie's house.
"Harry!!!!" Lizzie shouts, alarm filling every crevice of her voice.
"What is it love?" Liam asks. Lizzie just points. I follow her finger.
"Oh shit!" I yell making Zayn flinch beside me.

I slowly pull into Lizzie's driveway. We all four get out and walk towards the door. Lizzie lingers as I push my way in. Liam pushes her slightly in.
"Lizzie! Lizzie!" I hear her dad half screaming, half slurring her name throughout the house.
"Mr.Casper!" I yell trying to mock him but no one could could fake a voice that drunk.
"Lizzie get your ass up her!" He calls from her room.
"Coming da-" Her voice catches in her throat. She starts up towards the stairs. I follow silently behind her.
"Lizzie! Why are you out?" He slurs. God I'm about to gag he smells like liquor.
"Daddy I'm sorry..." She starts but is cut off when he slaps her.
"I've had enough of you!" I lose it and I take a swing at him.
"Harry don't!" Lizzie screams as I bring my fist down on his jaw.
Before I know it I'm on top of her dad punching him in the face.
"And don't touch her again!" I yell getting off of him.

Lizzie is laying on her bed crying. I don't know what I just did. All I know is that her dad THREW me out of the house and threatened to call the police the next time he saw me at his house. He cares more about me beating his face in than he cares about his daughter. I'm getting her out of there.
