Day Dreams (Louis Tomlinson)

(A/N: I'm making the coffee shop up. I'm literally thinking on the fly as I write this. So, bear with me!)


~*Niall's POV*~

Me and the boys were walking to the Coco's Cafe, which was the local coffee shop. We wanted a break, and we just got off tour. We all felt like hitting up Coca's. On the way there, we were randomly singing Best Song Ever, because we got bored. We were only a few blocks from Coca's, so we got there quickly. When we got there, a girl with ombre dyed hair was up on the stage, and I must say, she had the most beautiful forest green eyes ever. It looked like she had a guitar, and she opened her case up.

"Hey guys! Welcome to Coca's Cafe!" She said into the mic. "Today is a special day for me, and I'll be singing one of my favorite songs, in celebration of my 20th birthday! It's called Six Trillion Years and an Overnight Story by IA."

She got many cheers, and applause, and she seemed so confident. She put in a CD into the speakers, and a piano started to play.

Boring! Who sings a slow song on their birthday?

But, the sudden beat change snapped me out of my thought. Okay... this wasn't a slow song.

The girl was an amazing singer! I wondered how she wasn't famous, and how come I've never heard her. Surely she has a CD or something. I clapped for her, and then I noticed how busy the cafe suddenly was.

"Hey, we should ask if she has a CD. She's a great singer." I told the boys.

They all nodded in agreement, and we all started walked over to her. I saw her glance up, and stare into my eyes for a moment. She seemed to panic, and quickly sped-walked out.

"That was odd. Where do ya think she lives?" Liam asked us.

All of us shrugged.

"Well, she's got to live near if she can walk here. I'd love to get my hands on her!" Harry said, smirking.

"I don't think she knows who we are, though. She didn't really seem to notice us when we walked in, and she was scared of us." Louis pointed out.

He's right. She probably has no idea who One Direction is.

"Well, I'm gonna go order a drink! NO, I'm not ordering for you." I said as Zayn started to open his mouth.

He closed it, and pouted. The boys chuckled, and I walked over in line. I then felt someone shove past me, and I saw it was the girl. She was heading into the back, but why? Does she work here? She soon came back out.

"Hey! Kobey! Someone threw away my moc--"

"Excuse me, Love." I said, while tapping her shoulder.

Her beautiful forest green eyes locked with mine for a moment, until she said "Hmm?"

"Me and my band were wondering if you were a singer." I said.

"Umm, no. It's just a hobby." She said, "I'm Crystal Leafa, by the way." She said, holding her hand out.

"Well, you are an amazing singer, Crystal. I'm Niall. Niall Horan." I told her.

I shook her hand, and let go.

"You know, you and your friends sounded an awful lot like One Direction. Do you guys like them?" She asked me.

I was dumbfounded. Well, I know she knows of us, but I guess she doesn't know what we look like.

"Actually, we are One Direction." I said.

She didn't seem like she bought it.

"Yeah, right. Why would a famous band come to a local coffee shop?" She said.

Yup, she didn't buy it.

"I have no way of proving it right now, but I can prove it to you later." I said.

"How?"

"You can stop by our house, and we can sing to you." I said.

"That sounds great!" She said.

"What's you address? I was wa-- I mean I can drive there." She said nervously.

"Oh, um.. Here. Just, don't show anybody, or we will be mobbed by fans." I said, scribbling down our address and my number.

"Okay. Thanks!" She said, "I can come over any time. When would be best?"

"I guess when you're done working here today, love." I said.

"Working? Oh, I don't work here. I live here!" She said.

"Live here?" I asked, stunned.

"Uhm, no! I basically live here. I'm here all the time, so.. yeah." She said.

"Oh, that makes more sense.." I said, "Well, I better get going. See you around.. 2:30?"

"Sound great, Niall! See ya then!"

"Okay. Bye, love!" I said.

I turned, then walked away.
