Better With Two

He coughed loudly. "Rose!" He hollered. He then sneezed. "Blimey!" He grabbed a tissue and wiped his nose. He knew Rose wasn't here but he hoped calling her name would bring her home. Suddenly he heard the Tardis door open. "Doctor?" She yelled. "Ro-" he coughed in mid sentence. She stepped in the doorway. "I told you. I didn't need your coat. That you would get sick and I won't. I told you." She rubbed in my face. He smirked. "Hey you listen here, Tyler." She giggled. "You. Library. Pick out a movie and gets us some snacks and we'll have a movie night. Just you and me. How's that?" She rolled her eyes. "It's just an excuse to get me to cuddle with you." She stated, walking towards the library. He blushed bright red. He did want to cuddle. He just longed to get a kiss from the light of his life. But he smiled. Because she's too God damn cute to not smile at. She came back. Popcorn, tea, Grown Up 2,-. Damn it. She raided the medicine cabinet. "Now Doctor. I got liquid medicine because I know you have trouble swallowing the pills and its Banana flavored. Your favorite. Along with a movie, snack and I've got chicken noodle soup cooking." He smiled before being abruptly interrupted by a coughing fit. "Oh you poor thing." Rose whined bending over and putting her hand on his head. As she did so the Doctor's eyes were fixated on the neckline on Rose 's v neck. He could see the hem of her lace bra. He gulped hard and snapped himself out of it. "Take you medicine while I go get the soup." She ordered leaving him alone once again. He just swigged some down and shook his head in disgust. "Cherry?!" He hollered. He heard Rose burst out in giggles. He could help be smile. She was clever. "Very funny Rose!" He hollered. Then he got the idea to scare her. He hid in the bathroom. After a few boring moments, Rose finally cane back with steaming soup. "Doctor?" She set down the soup. "Doctor..." She took a couple steps forward. By now her back was right in front of the Doctor. He swung his arms around her and spun her in circles. Her screams quickly turned to giggles as he put her down. "Well played Doctor" she managed through giggles. "Well played." They then began the movie. Towards the middle of the film, Rose cuddled up next to the Doctor. He blushed madly. His hearts began fluttering inside his chest. Her bear skin touching his. He swallowed and contained himself. The movie was finally over and Rose tip toed to the CD player and hit play. He looked puzzled at her. The song Unconditional played and Rose started dancing. "Dance with me Doctor!" She ushered. He hesitated. "I can't..." She stopped. "Why?" He gulped loudly as his Adams Apple bobbed up and down nervously. "I can't dance...." He mumbled. She giggled a bit and pulled him up off the bed. They were now inchs apart. "Like this." She began to slow dance with her. "It's just swaying." She breathed. He could feel her heart beat. It fluttered like a thousand butterflies inside her chest. Was she nervous? He traced circles in her lower back. She giggled slightly. "Rose" he blurted. "Yes Doctor?" He sighed. "I can feel you heartbeat..." She stopped. "Oh...." they pulled away. "I'll go to bed. Night!" She stalled as she took a stab for the door, but he caught her wrist. She flinched in pain. "Rose?" He knew this wasn't going to be good. "Yes?" She squeaked. "Show me your wrists." He commanded as calmly as possible. She sighed before pulling up her shirt sleeve to slashs across her wrist. "Rose! Damn it! I told you to stop!" He shouted. She began to cry. "And I was but then we left Mickey and- and-" She couldn't hold it in anymore. She crawled up in a ball in the corner and cried. The Doctor sighed and knelt down in front of her. "Rose..." He whispered. "Why do you fucking care anyway?! Im not worth anything so there's nothing to protect!" Now he's mad. "ROSE DONT YOU EVER SAY THAT AGAIN! YOU ARE WORTH MORE THAN ANYTHING I COULD EVER IMAGINE! MY WHOLE LIFE EVOLVES AROUND PROTECTING YOU!" He shouted. "AND I CARE BECAUSE, DAMN IT, I'M IN LOVE WITH YOU ROSE TYLER!" The roolm fell silent. They were both shocked at what just came out of his mouth. "You're-" She paused. "In love with me?...." More silence. She got closer and as she did so she accidentally bumped her hand against his. The desire got too great. He couldn't take it. He lunged forward and pressed his lips firmly on hers. She thankfully kissed back as the Doctor got on top of her. The pulled away. "Don't you ever say that again. You are my star and I love you..." He crowned, stoking her hair softly. She nodded. "I love you, Doctor." She mumbled they were centimeters away now. Pressing their foreheads together. "I love you too princess..." and with that he sealed their love with a kiss...
