Racing to Love

*Ashley Rae's POV*

I leaned against my car, rubbing at a speck of dust on the headlight.

"That's one reason," Zia snapped. I held back a laugh. "The other reason is I have the full authority to kick you out of our track and invite some band instead."

"You could do that -"

"And I will," Zia snapped, walking him out, face red with anger.

"Drama," I stated, "who needs it?"

"I think drama makes life fun." Mandy said, plastering a smirk on her face.

"I thought racing did." Acacia asked.

"I'm agreeing with Acacia." Carrie stated. I nodded. She shrugged as Zia walked back.

"What did you mean, bring in a new band?" I asked. She smiled.

"That's for me to know, and you to wait and see." I rose an eyebrow.

"What?" Carrie asked.

"Nothing." Zia said, exasperated. I smiled.

"Anyone up for pizza?" I asked. They nodded.

"Park the cars first." Carrie demanded. We got in our cars, slipping on our helmets.

"Last one their pays!" Mandy said.

"Game on!" I yelled into the mic, as we sped to the garage.
