The Princesses of Lilah Lakes

*Noel's POV*

"Um.. oh, Niall. Wait here. I'll be back. Guards, please make sure he doesn't leave." I said to Niall as we arrived in the, well, lobby type thing. I quickly went up to my room and changed into a t-shirt and some jeans. I know I'm a princess, and the dresses are fun and all, but I like to move around. Once I was changed, I went back down to the room and found Niall looking at all the paintings I have hung on the wall.

"What are you doing here?" I asked startling him. He turned to me and answered.

"I'm, uh, I'm in a band, One Direction, and we are here to do a concert. What happened to your dress? You are a princess, aren't you supposed to be wearing a dress?" He asked confused.

"Usually. The dresses are fun to wear, but I only wear them for special occasions or when I have meetings. I would much rather be wearing this and have the ability to move." I explained "What do you want to do with Lilah Lakes? Are you trying to destroy the kingdoms?" I asked wanting answers.

"What? Kingdoms? No, we are just here to preform and we got chased by fans. We ran here because we had no where else to go." He said explaining himself starting to get slightly worried I could tell. I will admit, he is kind of cute when he's nervous, but I can't be thinking like that! He is an enemy, and as of right now, a threat. I don't know anything about him. Who knows what he could do to the kingdom.

"I'm not sure if I trust you. I am going to keep you here until I can learn more about you and what your plans are. Guards, take him to the East Wing." Once I said that he looked worried.

"Don't worry, we aren't cave people. I'm not throwing you in a dungeon, just a small room. I do have some heart." I said to him turning to walk away.

"Why are you keeping me here?" He asked

"I need to keep an eye on you. As far as I know you are a threat to my kingdom and the others. The other princesses may not be my best friends, but I care for them and hope they are safe. I can't have someone running around causing trouble to my city." I explained turning my back to him yet again.

"Well can I at least know your name?" He asked.

"Noel." I said starting to walk off.

"See you soon, Princess Noel."
