The Princesses of Lilah Lakes

*MAXINE'S POV*

"P-princess?" I heard the royal messenger stutter. I turn around and arrange my dress among the handles.
"Yes?" I ask.
"There is a royal princess meeting." He looked up at me with blue eyes. I sighed. "Again?"
"Yes, my princess," He said quietly and dashed off toward his room, not daring to catch my gaze.

I sigh again, holding up my dress to walk down the small steps.
I turn to my 'servant' or as I like to call him - by his darned real name - Christopher. He walks by me and asks, "Should I sent a carriage?"
"Yep, please." I nod.

He nods and goes to send one. I tap down the kingdom in my heels and greet everyone who sees me.
"Good morning."
"Nice to see you!"
"You're looking lovely today!"
"I'm glad I see you guys!"

Someone opens the door to the carriage and I easily slip inside it, only finding myself in a huge space with seats with princesses seated awkwardly around them.

Princess Noel is wearing this dress. Princess Tori looks amazing. Princess Megan looks beautiful, too. So does Princess Kassandra.

"So.. how's it going?" I saw awkwardly.

"This dress is killing me." Noel moans.
It's confusing to call them Princess this and Princess That.

"What's going on?"
We aren't exactly 'besties' - more like.. allies.

But we need to 'unite' to 'save' our kingdoms. No clue why.

"There are unknown boys coming." Tori says lowly. We all shoot looks at her.

"What?"
"There are guys coming," She explains impatiently.
"They're being sent, they're called One Direction or something."

"We can't have that!" Megan paces.
"We can't," I agree and chew on my lip.

God, what are we going to DO?!
