Maria's POV

Have you seen Miss Masquerade. That's all I saw. Have you seen Miss Masquerade, Miss Masquerade, Masquerade.

There were bright yellow posters everywhere when I walked into the school hallway. All with the same question:

have you seen Miss Masquerade?

My jaw dropped. Only one person would've done this. And that person, with his curly brown hair and green eyes, was standing right in front of me, smiling proudly.

He looked around, searching for whom of which was already standing in front of him. Would I go tell him, you ask? Ha....no. When he realizes it was me, he'd be disappointed.

I made my way near him, though, just so he could at least see me. I looked up at him for a second, a split second, and our eyes locked. I flicked my eyes away and hurried to... Somewhere else.
