Miss Masquerade
Ch. 4
Harry's POV
I keep wondering where I've seen this girl's eyes before. They were a beautiful color, a variety of blue, yellow, and green. She has blonde hair, too. She somewhat looks like Niall, and where that came from, don't ask me.
"Who are you," I asked the masked girl. We were on the balcony of Spencer's house, looking over the city. She giggled, cutely.
"Not who you think I am," she answered. "That's for sure." I turned to look at her.
"Hmm. Okay, how about a proposition," I suggested. There was two lawn chairs, and we sat on them. We faced each other.
"Shoot," she said.
"I'll ask you ten questions, you do the same, and if I figure out who you are, you have to go on a date with me," I said. The girl looked uneasy.
"I dunno, Harry..."
"C'mon, what're you afraid of," I teased. She murmured something, but I couldn't hear.
"Question one," I announced. "How old are you?" She smirked.
"Seventeen," she answered. I nodded. "Question one for me," she said. "If you could date anyone in the whole school, who would it be?"
I thought for a moment.
"Cody," I answered. She frowned. "Question two: what is your middle name?"
"Jocelyn," she said. I smiled.
"Pretty." She thanked me.
"What is your secret hobby," she asked me, leaning in closer. I gulped.
"I.... I like to sing. I want to be a singer," I stuttered. She raised her faint blonde eyebrows.
"I didn't expect that," she said and leaned back in her seat.
"What do you want to be when you grow up.... Question three," I said.
"Well... I'd like to be an actress, actually." She looked down, her face flushed. I smiled.
"I.... I have to go, I'm sorry," she said, getting up. I got up too.
"Why? What happened?" She looked back at me, sorrow in her eyes.
"I need to get back to reality."
And with that, Miss Masquerade was gone.
