The Artist
Simon, and his "Brilliant" Ideas
Sweat, dripping down her face.
Screaming, from all of the fans surrounding her.
Sometimes, Asher felt like it was too much to handle.
But, she could.
Usually.
After the concert, she didn't want to do anything else, just go back home and go to sleep.
That is exactly what she did, too.
When she got home, before she pulled into the driveway she noticed a large, shiny, silver SUV parked.
"Huh... what is going on..?" She mumbled, before slowly sliding out of her black Lamborghini.
She climbed the small set of stairs cautiously and fumbled with her keys for a moment when her front door opened, she shrieked and flung herself back, almost falling off of the porch.
"Good to know you're just gonna die if someone is in your house burgling you."
Asher made a desperate face, "What does that even mean..."
She looked up, "God, Simon."
Leaning down, she picked up her keys that he had made her drop and stood back up, "You're always popping out of nowhere. And how the hell did you get in my house??"
"I have my ways."
"Well they sure are creepy."
She frowned and stepped past him, "What do you want, Simon...?"
"I have a... proposition for you, Ashley."
"You know it's Asher now, Simon."
"It wasn't on the X."
The memories came flooding back to Asher, her losing, crying, she barely went out of her house for about a year after that..
"Just tell me what you want." her voice was soft and pleading.
Simon's face turned apologetic, "I'm sorry, "Ashle-.." he stopped.
"I just wanted you to... meet some people."
"And who would those people be?"
"Just a... certain.. band.."
"Which band, Simon."
"Eh... um..."
"Spit it out!"
"One Direction."
Asher shook her head, "No. I'm, no. Just no. I'm not going to talk to them, I'm not going to work with them, I don't even want to look at them."
"They're not that bad, Asher."
"Are you kidding? They actually BROKE Vevo, and beat my unbeatable spot on the charts!!!"
"They're talented."
"They are a load of bullcrap, talentless brats, that I will have nothing to do with!"
Simon gave her a look.
"They're not brats. All of them are older than you, and very mature."
"Oh yeah? Have you seen the things they do?"
Simon sighed, "Look. All I'm saying is, if you go on tour with them it could really help all of your careers."
Asher shook her head, "No. I'm not going on tour with them. EVER."
She slammed the door.
"Well... you see.."
Asher paused. "What..?"
"I already have it arranged."
She swung the door open, "Already have WHAT arranged??"
"You're going on tour with them."
Asher made a face, "What?!?! No!!!"
She walked back inside and slammed the door in his face.
"Ow."
She slid down the door and sat on the floor.
Simon sighed.
"You could at least think about it, Ashley."
"It's not like I have much of a FUCKIN' choice!!!! And stop CALLIN' me that!!"
She hit her hand on the door, frustrated because she had to work with them, and that her southern accent was coming out.
"Just... consider it.. alright?"
Silence.
"ALRIGHT?"
"FINE!!!!" she screamed at him through the door.
Simon sighed and shook his head, he walked down to his car and got in, what was he supposed to do? They weren't gonna like each other.
Well, the boys would obviously like her, she was beautiful. But she was going to hate them.
Maybe something good would happen.
Something that would change her mind?
What if.
One day in the future..
This decision that he was making, changed every way she thought about those boys?
Maybe.
Maybe not.
