New School

Rachel's P.O.V.

I knocked the door quickly. I was late, as per usual. I never managed to make it anywhere on time.

"Hey Rach" Louis grinned opening the door.

My stomach fluttered a little at his smile.

I hated that I felt this way around Louis now, things were much less complicated when I could be around him without getting so nervous.

He pulled me out of my train of thought by snapping his fingers in my face.

"Whaaat?" I mumbled, slightly dazed.

He chuckled.

"Are you going to come in?" he asked.

I felt my cheeks flush red.

"Yeah, of course" I smiled, embarrassed at my red cheeks.

He flung an arm around me carelessly. I couldn't help but smile.

"Well, everyone else is here of course. Harry and Kayleigh just wandered off though.. Wonder what's going on there" he winked.

I rolled my eyes.

"Don't make assumptions, they could be talking about anything" I told him.

He shook his head.

"Nah. Harrys had his eye on her since she walked into class today" he told me.

I pondered the idea, before we rounded the corner and met the others.

Macy's eyes narrowed when they landed on me.

"What is she doing here, Lou?" she asked.

"She's just here to hang out" Louis shrugged casually.

I pulled out of his grip and made my way over to Niall.

"Great to see you too Macy" I muttered as she walked over to Louis and wrapped her arms around his neck.

Sometimes I was almost sure she did it just to spite me.

Niall patted my back sympathetically.

"Maybe we should go watch a movie" he suggested loudly, causing Macy to pull back slightly from Louis.

"Okay sure" she shrugged her shoulders.

Louis nodded in agreement too so we went into his living room.

We decided to watch The Hunger Games.

I made sure to sit as far away from Louis and Macy as I could.

Let's just say, they didnt always pay attention to what was happening in screen.

I wasn't wrong in sitting far away. Not even ten minutes into it they started a heated make-out session on the couch.

"Hey Rach"

I looked up to see Kay and Harry back.

Kay sat down next to me and Harry sat near enough by.

"So what happened?" I asked trying to distract myself from Louis.

"Well-" she began but was cut off by Niall yelling 'GET A ROOM!'

The other boys were thankfully siding with me on the whole Macy thing. They all kind of wanted me and Louis together though they had to know it was never gonna happen.

Macy pulled back from Louis smirking.

"There's plenty in this house babe, let's go find one" she whispered.

Louis smirked back and within a minute they were wandering off hand in hand.

You have got to be fucking kidding me.

I sighed loudly, running a hand through my hair."You know what, I think I'm just gonna go" I mumbled, standing up.

I couldn't bear staying in the house knowing what they were doing.

Kay looked confused but the others knew what was happening.

Niall stood up with me catching my arm.

"Rach, you don't have to leave" he told me.

He didn't understand. How could I stay in the house knowing that MY Louis was with her. Knowing what he was doing with her.

I bit my lip. I could feel the back of my eyes start to prick and the familiar lump in my throat began to grow. No way. I was not crying in front of the boys.

"I just don't think I can handle it Niall. Can you just tell Louis I felt sick or something?" I pleaded.

After all it wouldn't be a complete lie.

"Rach, your not gonna walk home alone. I'll drive you. We can just hang out at your place for a while" Kay suggested.

Having someone over didnt sound so bad.

"I'll come too" Harry added.

I raised an eyebrow slightly but just shrugged.

"Thanks guys" I gave a quick smile.

They both just nodded in response.

I said goodbye to the others and before long the three of us were in Harry's car.

"So, what exactly happened back there?" Kay asked, once Harry started the car.

"Do you want to explain or shall I?" he asked.

I shrugged, from where I was sitting in the back of the car.

"You might as well. You're better at it anyways" I mumbled.

And he was. I was almost certain he had picked up on my feelings for Louos before I had.
