Rachel’s P.O.V.

“Thee end!” Louis announced as it appeared on the screen.

We were lying on my bed, watching the reasonable sized television on the wall. Louis arm was slung around my shoulder and I was resting my head on his chest.

“Do you wanna watch another movie?” he asked, trailing his fingers along my back.

I felt myself shiver, causing him to look down at me, raising an eyebrow.

I felt my cheeks flush red so I pulled away from him quickly.

“Yeah, another movie sounds good. What do you wanna watch?” I asked, hopping off of the bed quickly.

He sat up, looking slightly confused at my abruptness.

“I don’t mind. Whatever you want” he shrugged.

I grinned widely.

“Your gonna regret that” I sang, kneeling down to look at the different DVD’s I had.

I heard him chuckle from the bed.

“I don’t doubt that I will” he replied.

I heard his phone ring in his pocket.

“Hello?” he asked politely.

“Oh Hi Mace” he added.

I felt myself freeze.

Oh great.

I sighed, running a hand through my hair, trying to focus back on the movies and ignore him.

“I can’t right now. I’m at Rachels”

The Vow.

I hadn’t seen that in a while so this seemed to be a good choice.

“Macy, I’ll come over later. I’m busy right now!” I heard him say, sounding a little frustrated.

I began setting up the movie.

“Okay babe, bye” he finished, sounding less annoyed now.

I turned to him once the movie was set up.

“It’s pretty late Lou. If you’re gonna go over to Macy’s you should probably leave soon” I told him, trying my best not to sound disappointed.

He shook his head.

“It’ll be fine. What are we watching?” he asked.

I couldn’t help but grin slightly.

“We are watching The Vow!” I announced.



I hit the floor with a thump causing my eyes to shoot open.

“Shit” I mumbled.

I looked around the room, realising I was alone.

I got up quickly, still in the clothes I had been in yesterday.

The smell of pancakes hit me when I opened my bedroom door, walking out into the hall.

I went down the stairs quickly and headed straight for the kitchen.

As soon as I walked in, I saw Louis sitting at the table, a large stack of pancakes in front of him.

My mum was sitting across from him, sipping at her coffee.

“Morning” I said loudly so they’d realise I was there.

“Good morning dear” Mum said, standing up.

She put her empty cup in the sink.

“I’m heading off to work now love” She told me.

“Enjoy your day off school” she said, now turning to both me and Louis.

“Thanks for the pancakes Sharon” Louis called as she walked out of the kitchen heading for the door.

I made my way over to the kettle to make some tea as soon as I heard the front door slam.

“So what do you want to do today?” Louis mumbled, still chewing pancakes.

I frowned slightly.

“Lou, weren’t you meant to go to Macy’s place?” I asked, putting my teabag in a mug.

He nodded.

“So..?”I continued, confused.

He shrugged.

“I decided to hang out with you instead” He told me causally.

I couldn’t help but grin at that.

Maybe things would get better.
