Rachel's P.O.V.

"Kayleigh! Louis! Sit down right now" the teacher yelled, once she had come back into the classroom.

They both sat down quickly without saying another word.

"Thanks" I whispered to Kay once the teacher had turned back to the board.

She shrugged.

"No biggie"

"I'm starting to see why you hate Macy" Kayleigh mumbled.

We were in her room. She was fully dressed and I was doing her eyeliner for her. It happened to be one of the only things I was good at make up wise.

"Mmh" I mumbled in response, finishing uo her eye liner.

"Kayleigh!" we heard a yell from downstairs.

"Oh god" her eyes widened.

I rolled my eyes.

"You'll be fine. I'm sure whatever he has planned for you will be amazing" I gave her an encouraging smile.

We left her room and headed downstairs where I spotted Harry at the door with flowers.

"Awwh, you little cutie!" i couldn't help but grin.

He stuck his tongue out at me quickly before turning to Kay.

"You okay for a lift home Rach?" she asked.

I nodded. I had borrowed my mums car to come over so I could just drive that home.

"Have fun! Stay safe!" I called after them as they walked out of the door.

I followed, not long after them, climbing into the cold car.

I hadn't talked to Louis at all today (well not properly) which was definitely a record for me.

I thought about him during the drive home.

Why did things have to be so complicated now? Everything was fine before I went and got feelings for him. I may not have liked the girls he dates but I wasn't jealous of them.

People say you find yourself slowly falling for someone over time. But that's bullshit. Love just suddenly knocks you over. Your totally unprepared and it leaves you questioning everything.

I wasn't feeling any better by the time I got home.

As soon as I walked in the door I flung the keys in the bowl on the coffee table.

I was surprised when I could hear my mums voice, talking away to someone.

Maybe she was on the phone?

I followed the sound if her voice to the living room. I was mistaken. She wasn't on the phone.

"Louis, what are you doing here?" I asked, causing both Louis and my mum to turn to look at me.

"Why don't I leave you two to talk for a minute" My mum suggested, standing up quickly and wandering out of the room.

She closed the door behind her, leaving us in an awkward silence.

"So what are you doing here?" I asked again.

He gestured for mr to come sit next to him and I did without really thinking about it.

There was a plastic bag next to him and as curious as I was to see what was in it, I needed to know why he was here.

"Well I feel really bad about ditching you last minute this morning, so I came to make it up to you" he said simply.

I raised an eyebrow sceptically.

"I figured we just hang out and watch a movie or something. I know I've been spending a lot of time with Macy lately, but you need to know Rach - you'll always be my girl" he said seriously.

I couldn't help but smile slightly at the last part.

"So am I forgiven?" he asked.

I sighed dramatically before narrowing my eyes.

"That depends" I replied.

He looked slightly confused.

"On what?" he wondered.

I gave him one last serious look before answering.

"What's in the bag?" I asked.

A grin spread across his face quickly.

"Glad you asked! I brought.." he began, sticking his hand in the bag to pull out the first item.

I gasped slightly.

"Finding Nemo" he finished.
Finding Nemo was my favourite movie of all time and had been since I was a kid. Louis knew that of course from all the times I had made him watch it.
I had the same video of it from when I was little but our video player no longer worked and I hadn't had a chance to buy the DVD.

"And I also brought..." he started again, this time pulling something quiet different from the bag.

"Ben & Jerrys: Cookie Dough!" I exclaimed. Cookie Dough was my favourite. Wow, he really was feeling bad.

"I probably should have put it in the freezer when I got here.." he mumbled.

I giggled slightly.

"Probably" I agreed.

I couldn't help but throw my arms around him. He had been really thoughtful.

"Thanks Lou. I really appreciate you coming over" I mumbled, into his shoulder.

He pulled me closer to him, rubbing circles on my back.

"I had to. Your my best friend. I can't stand you being mad at me.." he replied.

This was how it was meant to be. Me and Louis. Without Macy.

"Let's go watch this movie" I indicated to the DVD. He nodded.

"Yeah and let's order some pizza too" he added.

I nodded grinning.
