New School

Rachel's P.O.V.

I ran a hand through my hair as I walked into maths. My first class of the day.

During this class I always sat next to Louis. None of the other boys were in the class so it only made sense.

This happened to be one of my only classes that Kayleigh wasn't in, so I wasn't left with much choice.

I took my usual seat and tapped my fingers along the desk.

Louis was always late to class, so it wasn't much of a surprise when the teacher walked into the room and Louis still wasn't here.

Luckily, he walked in not long after the teacher had sat down.

"Hurry up Mr. Tomlinson" she muttered, opening her laptop. She didn't even have to look up to know it was Louis that was late.

He nodded, walking past her and coming to the back of the room where I was, plopping into his seat.

I continued tapping my fingers along the table, completely ignoring his presence.

"Are you okay?" he whispered softly.

I pretended I hadn't heard him and kept watching my fingers.

"Rachel? What the hell?! Are you mad that I didn't pick you up this morning?" he tried again, poking my arm.

I pulled my arm away from him quickly.

"Ugh, your being such a child! I pick you up almost every morning and I miss one day and you won't talk to me! You literally live like 15 minutes away from the school! Are you honestly too lazy to walk?" he whisper-yelled.

"Louis! Stop talking!" The teacher shouted from the front of the classroom.

He folded his arms angrily, and glared at the board.

This was gonna be one hell of a long day.

We sat in silence for the rest of class.

I couldn't believe how inconsiderate. I was sick of him choosing Macy over me. And the worst part was he didn't even know what he was doing wrong.

As soon as class was over, I got up and out the door as quickly as possible.

Thankfully Kayleigh was in all the rest of my classes so I could sit with her.

When it came to lunch, we wandered off just the two of us, cause I couldn't stand the thought of seeing Louis and Macy together right now.

"So what did you and Harry talk about yesterday?" I asked, as we sat down with our food.

"Oh.." she beagan, looking down awkwardly.

I raised an eyebrow.

"Well, he asked me out" she told me, blushing slightly.

My eyes widened.

"That's great!" I grinned excitedly.

Then my eyes narrowed slightly as I thought of something.

"Wait, you did say yes, right?" I added awkwardly.

She nodded, laughing.

"Good" I grinned back. It would have badly hurt his ego if she had of rejected him.

"We're going out tonight" she told me.

"Awwh cool" I replied. We had a day off of school tomorrow. It was weird considering it was a Wednesday but it was apparently some sort of holiday.

"Well Harry's a great guy I'm sure you'll have a great time" I said. And I knee she would. Her and Harry would be adorable.
