Chapter 24:I’m back California!
Skylar's Pov
My brother picked me up at the airport and I was going to have to explain everything. When we got home I told my mom and brother. My dad passed away a few years ago he was in the military and died for his country. I was proud of him. My mom and brother were shocked. They understood and supported me though.
“Do you want to keep him or her?” my mom asked.
“Yea I wouldn’t be able to give he/her up.” I said.
“I’ll go make an appointment” my mom said.
“Well I didn’t see this coming but what do you plan on doing?”
“Well I’m going to graduate with my class. Then I’m going to get my own apartment and go to community college while working or I’m going to to try to get a grant in all of this I’m going to rise my kid.” I said with full confidence. I’m going to forget about the pain and do what I have to do.
“Well thats my sister. With what money though?” he asked.
“Well I’m going to get a job as a cashier save up money. I have saved up from my job in the UK and yes I did transfer the money to American. I have saved 3,OOO dollars with my Birthday money I got there and here.” I replied.
“It’s a start. Well we need to go to school to make sure everything is transferred. Then we going to find you a job. Deal? All in a days work of course?” Max said.
“Lets do it” I replied.
We told mom what we were going to do and we left the house.
By the 8 at night I got a job and I’ll be back in all my honor roll classes on monday. That night I started to apply for grants and scholarships. I also applied to 4 community colleges.”
I called Louis and his family before I went to bed since it was morning over there. Then west to bed.
