Zayn’s P.O.V (Continued)

I can’t believe her. I understand why she feels the need to cut, but I wonder why she started cutting in the first place.
“Traci? Why did you start cutting in the first place?”
“I can’t tell you that Zayn. I’m sorry, but only one other person knows, and I don’t normally tell anyone about it.”
“At least tell me who else knows. I promise that I won’t ask them about it. I just want to help you.”
“No.”
“Yes.” I demand.
“So you still want to know about why I cut?”
“Yes!”
“Fine. At first, there was a boy who loved me. A boy who cared. A boy who spent time with me. He was my only friend. He was my best friend. One day, everything went wrong. My mom and dad died in a car crash. I was devastated. He comforted me, even though I know he was broken at the same time. I was sent off to live with a foster parent.
She screamed and hit me every day, and then yelled at me for being wimp when I cried. But she found out about him, and she pretty much raped him one day when he came over, she took his virginity. He was never the same again. She told him something about me, she told him something that I only just found out about.
She told him I wanted to kill him. It was a lie. I loved him possibly more then I loved my parents. He left me. He ran away. My adoptive ‘mother’ continued to hit me. She was surprisingly strong for her small stature.
Eventually, it got really bad. So when she ordered me to get her a coke in a glass, I slipped rat poison in the glass. She died during the night. I felt horrible, though no one suspected me as her killer. He did though. He never trusted me again. I had no one. Liam, he hated me. And really, nothing was ever the same! Are you happy now?”
