Chapter 18 :

Olivia's P.O.V :

I never thought I'll get to train myself how to survive .Yeah ,here I am ,in the middle of nowhere ,holding a bow with an arrow head made of pure silver .I never had the chance to discover my archery skills until now .And with the help of this pure silver head arrow ,I can kill a supernatural almost instantly .



When I said that ,I meant it -- I rised my bow towards the direction were I heard a ruffling sound ,out of nowhere a vampire with bloody-red eyes started to run towards me .I started chuckling to myself knowing that this vampire will be dead before it could rech me .I pulled my arrow ,and narrowed my eyes trying to aim this hungry looking vampire straight in the head.My fingers let go of the string holding the arrow ,making it fly straight into the vampire's forehead .I smirked to myself watching the creature scream in pain ,his eyes returning to their natural color before he hit the ground with a thump .I turned around when I heard someone clap from behind .



"Bravo !"Niall cheered ,with a grin ,his eyes a dark shade of yellow."You're really good !" I put my arrow down and hugged him tight .



"Thanks ,"I mumbled ,noticing the other boys approaching us --excluding Harry .



"Hey ,guys !" I greeted the boys giving each one a warm hug ,Liam's eyes were just like Niall's and Zayn and Louis' were a dark shade of red just like the vampire's I just killed ,and their eye colors is something I can't understand .They all smelled like blood ,and I know what from --Humans. I cringed at the thought .



"I never understood why your eyes color is different from Harry's ," I said pointing between their eyes .I remember that Harry had the most beautiful dark shade of glowing blue eyes ,and I never really cared to ask why his eyes are different from the others ,and I guess now my curiosity ate me .



"Niall and I are werewolves ,more precisely 'Betas' ,"Liam explained ,making me nod my head .



"Okay ,you are werewolves but you--"I turned and pointed at Louis and Zayn ,"--are Vampires just like Harry ,"I said pointing my finger between Zayn and Louis .



"Um ,you see we are 'Meenas' ,and Harry is --You should ask him this yourself ,"Louis explained ,scratching the back of his neck .



"Wait ,wait ,wait ,"I said confusedly with a slight smile on my lips putting my hands up ,"'Betas' and 'Teenas'--"



"'Meenas' ," zayn corrected with a fake cough .



"Whatever you say big guy ,"I said rolling my eyes at him "I was saying, 'Betas' and -" I smirked looking at Zayn " 'Teenas' " I giggled making Zayn roll his eyes at me "Are the kind of breeds ,like those of cats and dogs ?"I asked innocently .



I know that they hate being compared to animals ,but I wanted to mess with them a little .But when I saw their looks I almost regreted saying a damn word .



Their fangs were showing ,Niall's and Liam's claws were ready to attack and the four of them were breathing heavilly trying to controle their anger .I know that they would never mean to hurt me but them being in this animal state isn't that safe .So I put my hands up in surrender .



"Sorry guys ,"I said breaking into a fit of laughter .I wiped the corner of my eyes from tears ,and looked up at them .They had completely blank stares ,no emotion showing ,no anger ,no boredom ,no amusement no nothing .



"Guys ,I'm sorry I just wanted a laugh ,"I said slowing down from my laughter ,but they said nothing ,they kept that blank face on .



"C'mon it was funny ,admit it ,"I poked Niall in the rib trying to get him back in the mood .But when they kept showing no emotion my smile faded .



"Okay ,"I cleared my throat awkwardly .



"Any news about Harry ?"I asked hope filling my voice .



They looked at each other --Thank god they stopped staring--and shook their heads in unison .I sighed and put down my bow along with the bag full of arrows .



All I know about Harry is that he's with his father fighting in Italy ,and he can't come back ,because his father won't let him .So now all I have is these four lads .



Yes ,I'm practically living with human's enemies ,an innocent --but not so innocent--girl living with a bunch of supernatural creatures ,but that's nothing compared to my boyfriend being a supernatural too .



We moved out of Holmes-Chapel after what Harry left ,we moved to an unknown village here in England .Everything changed since that day when the world got attacked by vampires .It's horrible ,how did we even get to this ?Vampires ?Vampires didn't exist they were bedtime stories ,myths ,horror movies ,along with all the other supernatural and paranormal creatures .



Harry left just like that ,without another word .It might take days ,weeks ,months ,and even years for him to come back .




"I want to go and visit him ,y'know ,"I said with a crooked smile on my face ,as I looked at them it was like the color drained off of their faces .



They paled --if that's even possible .




"No!"They shrieked together in sync ,making me flash them a confused look .




"We--I mean no ,you can't ."He trailed off "Yours and Harry's relationship is kind of a secret ,remember ?" He asked ,making me nod slightly,"And I don't think you going there ,will be the best choice ,"He finished scratching his head ,and I nodded looking down at my feet .



"I miss him ,"I sighed sitting down on the grass .The screams from around us are unbearable .Women and children being taken and murdered whilst their men fight for their lives .Everyone is dying or shifting into vampires .Now it depends ,if you survive the bite I'm kinda sorry for you ,but if you don't I congrat you 'cuz you won't have to fight this horrible war between humans and vampires .



"Let's go ,"Niall yawned ,we all nodded and started following him to our new cabin .



It was a small cabin little and cozy ,fitting for the five of us .It was on the outcasts of the village ,the screams could be heard from here but more faint .



I wanted to call or contact mom and Kevin in any way possible ,but in this situation you have nothing to do than pray and hope that they're safe .The day everything started I remember running home desperately hoping to find mom ,but she wasn't there she was working at that time .So when I called the hospital they told me she's somewhere safe ,but I can't be sure she's safe .



Nobody's safe at these times .



All I know about Kevin is that he joined the army ,in fighting against our enemies ,who happened to be Vampires .



How ironic .



The thought of losing my mom and brother made tears form into my eyes .I wiped them away and took a deep breath to calm myself down .



We reached the cabin and Liam was the first one stepping in ,followed by Niall ,Zayn ,Louis and lastly by me .Before stepping in we all brushed our muddy boots on the mat outside the front door .At least we keep the cabin clean .



"Now ,everyone go and shower !"I instructed pointing a finger towards the bathroom door they all share "Starting with Louis ,how did you even --nevermind just--" I looked at Louis who had an innocent face on ,and that made my heart fill with guilt for snapping at him like that ,but when I looked at his body I cringed my nose in disgust .I put a hand over my eyes and the other pointing towards the door .



I didn't want to see nor smell Louis anymore .



He was covered in blood and mud ,and he smelled like -- Death .



I shivered at the thought and walked past the boys towards my room ,which happened to be across from Niall's .After getting a pair of clean pyjama pants and a white T-shirt of Harry's , I walked to my separate bathroom -I get a separate bathroom according that I'm the only girl here- and started the shower .



After checking the temperature of the water I stepped in ,letting the warm yet cold water touch my bare skin .I can't get the water warmer than it already is ,so I'm thanksful it's warm enough for me to take a shower .I washed my body ,letting the dirt wash off of me .After washing my hair and shaving my legs and arms --not that it was necessary-- I stepped out of the shower letting the cold air engulf me .



I dried myself with a white soft towel and put on my clean pyjama pants and Harry's white T-shirt ,sadly his cologne scent slowly fading away ,making me miss him even more .



I laid down on the cold mattress and pulled the duvet over my cold body so I'll warm up.I burried my face in the pillow hoping sleep will take me away from this world .



A cold breeze hit me ,making me shot up from the bed .



I looked around the dark room and saw that the only window here was opened wide letting the cold breeze come in .I shivered under Harry's shirt tightening my grip around my waist .



As I reached the window ,I noticed a tall body standing on the far land .



I narrowed my eyes at the person trying to figure out who could be .I could tell he was a male ,according to his broad shoulders ,and tall body .



I turned around threw my warm coat over my shoulders not bothering to run my arms through the sleeves ,slipped on my black boots and tiptoed to the front door .



As I stepped out I wasted no time in walking towards the body .The cold hit me immediately making me rub my hands together in attempt to make heat .



The screams settled down at this time of night --at least we can rest at night .



The fog was slowly settling down making it harder for me to see the man --Great ! I know it's crazy risking my life by walking at this time at night alone and especially unarmed .



But what if it's Harry ?



Also this all could be a trick and that man standing there could be a murderer .



I stopped from walking to rethink everything ,my brain is telling me just to turn around and walk back to my warm and comfortable bed ,but my heart is telling me other wise ,what if it's Harry ?What if he came back ?I led my heart lead me this time ,so I kept walking until I was close to the figure .I stood still in my tracks and looked over him .



He is tall a black mantle covering his broad shoulders and head and an all too familiar pair of dark glowing blue eyes .



Harry .



My coat fell off of my shoulder and I ran towards him not caring that I was wearing only a pair of sweats and Harry's thin white T-shirt ,but before I could reach him I ran into an invisible field making me fall down .



I groaned in pain and slowly stood back up .I couldn't see his features because of the hood that shadowed his beautiful face .



I reached my hand towards him only to be stopped by the invisible field again .I looked at my hand with furrowed eyebrows and back at Harry .



"Harry ,"I groaned pushing the field with both my hands ,"What's going on ?!"I asked whilst pushing the field with my right shoulder .



"You can't brake it ,"He rasped in a low voice .



"Then you try and brake it !"I said frustratedly .



"Why would I?"He asked . What ?!



"Why ?! So we could go home ! So we could get back to normal ,"



"Nothing's going to be normal anymore ,"He said in a low husky voice ,I stared at him tears pricking my eyes .



"At least come back ,I missed you ,"I whispered hugging myself .



"I can't --We can't be seen together ,"He answered .How could he ?!



"How can you say that ?!"I spat in disgust ,anger pumping through my veins "The world has been attacked by vampires ,"I spat the word 'vampires' in disgust "Everyone's dying ,burning even !"I pointed to a burning field next to us which swallowed people alive ,"The entire world is a chaos ,and you tell me you're worried we might be seen together ?!" I yelled at him making a hot tear slide down my freezing cheek .



"I'm the crowned prince of The Vampire Kingdom and I --"



"Don't you dare ,pull your f*cking prince card on me Mr.Styles !" I warned cutting him off .



"You naïve little girl !What do you think makes you different than those filthy people ?!" He yelled pulling his hood off of his head .



He's different .



Not only his persona but his look too .He's more pale than the last time I saw him -If that's even possible- He's more muscular -He looks like he knocks out from the first punch- His hair isn't that curly anymore ,and it isn't swept over his forehead like it used to be ,now it is put in a high quiff that makes him look even more mature and--intimidating.His eyes glowing ,and his fangs were showing in anger .



"So I'm filthy now ?!You blood-sucking monster !"I yelled into his face ,making him breathe heavilly in anger ,his eyes went darker almost black .



My breathing was heavy and anger continued pumping through my veins ."And no I'm not any different from the others ,"I said above a whisper ,making sure he could hear me .



I chuckled and looked down at my hands ,then looked back up to meet his glowing eyes ."I am just like you said a naïve little girl who thought was in love with a big vampire ," I said with a broken smile on my face ,I let the hot tears slide one by one on my freezing cheeks ,I was just too broken to even care how I looked .



Harry's features softened ,his eyes slowly turning into their original green color ,he parted his lips to say something else but I cut him off ,"You were the first to say I love you and I'm the first to say I hate you ," and with that I turned around to walk away .



"Olivia !Stop !"He yelled banging his fists on the invisible field .So he can't break it either .



"Please ! Olivia listen !" I just don't want to her him anymore ! I hate him ! I sobbed as I ran back to the cabin .



"Olivia !"Harry's raspy voice suddenly changed into a strange accent .Irish ? Wait what ?!



"Olivia !Wake up !"Niall's voice rang through my ears making me open my eyes and gasp for air .I sobbed as Niall pulled me into a comfortable hug .After a few minutes of Niall hugging me I calmed down a little .I looked around the room and saw that all the boys are around my bed with worried looks spread across their pale faces .




"Thanks god you're okay !" Niall breathed pulling away from the hug ,with me hicupping every now and then .



"Louis was about to call some doctors ,"Zayn said ,pointing at a sweaty Louis holding a phone in his right hand .



"What happened ?" I managed to ask .



"You were screaming 20 minutes now ," Liam said checking his watch .



"And you were screaming Harry's name too ,"Louis smirked ,bringing me a cop of water ,I shot a dirty glare at him making the boys burst out into laughter .I gulped down the water before putting the empty glass on the nightstand .They wiped the corner of their eyes from tears because of laughing too hard .



Assholes .



"Okay ,what did you dream about if you weren't dreaming about the 'frickle frackle'?" Liam asked quoting 'frickle frackle' ,making the boys burst into laughter one more time --Not that they stopped laughing the first time .



"Liam!" I yelled picking up my bow and arrow from under the bed .



As soon as they saw my dangerous weapon the color drained off of their faces ,their laughter suddenly stopped like they have been pulled out of the plug ,and they all put their hands up in surrender like scared bunnies ,and they all took a step back .



Now it was my turn to laugh at them .



I would never --and I mean never hurt any of these lads purposely .



I nodded at them and put the weapon back in place .



"Okay ,Now.." I looked at the boys who were still frozen in their places .



"C'mon boys it's not like I was going to shoot !"I chuckled nervously making them sigh in relief .



"Now what were we talking about ?" I asked fixing my pony tail .



"About you and Harry ha--"Zayn started .



"My bow is right beneath me ,"I warned in a calm voice .



"Right ,"Zayn nodded and sat down 'indian' styles followed by Louis and Liam .



"Is it okay if I --"Niall pointed to the place next to me ,I nodded my head and moved a little giving him more space to sit comfortably .



"Now I want you to give me your hand so I can find out what's reason behind your dreams,"He said taking my hand in his "If they were dreams ,"He mumbled looking down at the mattress .



"What do you mean ?" I asked my eyebrows furrowed together .



"You'll find out soon ," He reassured me giving my hand a light squeeze .



"Wait you werewolves have supernatural powers too ?" I asked grinning between Niall and Liam making them chuckle .



"No ,Olivia ,"Liam started "Niall's grandmother was a witch and we believe that he got the power of entering someone else's mind from her ,his grandmother was known as the most powerful witch at her time ,"He said pointing at Niall who was waving around proudly .



"Don't flatter yourself Horan and get to work !" I snapped with a fake frown which broke when a smile appeared on my face .



"Yes ma'am !" He put his right hand on the right side of his forehead giving me a 'Military Salute' ,I giggled and closed my eyes and took a deep breath ,preparing myself for what's going to happen next .
