Chapter 7- That Was Brilliant!
“Can I get you anything else before I bring the check?” Our waiter asked standing next to Taylor.
He was tall with bright blue eyes that watched my every move while he was at the table. Whenever he came to our table he would look around at all of us, give Harry a rude look and then look at me with gentle eyes.
“Nope, just the check please.” Taylor answered looking up at him with a tone of impatience lingering as they met eyes.
“Alright, I’ll be right back with the check then.” He smiled weakly, looked at me and turned away.
“Well that was awkward.” I finally said with a sigh.
“I thought I was the only one feeling it.” Cleo laughed entwining her hand with Taylor’s.
“No, I felt it too.” Taylor agreed looking over at Harry with a questioning look. “You alright?”
“Yea.” He said in a believably voice but I saw through it, he was pissed.
I reached over and grabbed his hand that was resting in his lap and entwined our fingers. He looked up at me and then looked away quickly. I squeezed his hand and looked up at Taylor who was watching up; I shrugged and picked up my drink.
“When are you guys going back home?” I asked setting my drink back on the table.
“I wanted to talk to you about that…” Taylor paused to take a deep breath. “We want to leave tonight. Being in that house is too hard right now.”
“That’s fine.” I nodded slowly. “Do what’s best for you.” I saw Harry nod in agreement as our waiter walked up to our table again.
“Here’s the check, I hope you enjoyed your meal.” He handed me the check and winked.
“Thanks bro.” Harry said in a husky voice while he let go of my hand.
I looked over at him but he was starring at the waiter with anger in his eyes. His jaw was clenched and his eyes were locked on the waiters.
“You’re welcome.” He responded with attitude.
Harry looked away from the waiter and towards me with pleading eyes. I looked into his and leaned over, letting my lips press against his lips lightly. When I leaned back, he smiled and entwined our fingers again.
“Thank you.” I looked up at the waiter and took the check out of his hand.
“Uh-huh.” He said defeated before he walked away.
“Who’s paying?” I asked looking at Taylor who was in tears from laughing so hard.
“We are.” Cleo cleared her throat and reached for it.
I nodded and kicked Taylor’s leg making him stop laughing for a few seconds. After about 10 seconds, he went back to laughing like an idiot, which made Harry laugh too.
“That was brilliant.” Harry laughed.
“I knew you were going to do something but I didn’t think you would kiss him!” Taylor clapped.
“What else was I supposed to do? He was starring at me, I had to prove I wasn’t interested in him.” I shrugged looking over at Cleo who was giggling like a little girl. “What now?”
“I think he was expecting you to pay.” She smiled handing me the check.
I took it from her and looked down to see his sloppy writing:
“Hi, I know I’m just your waiter but I think you’re gorgeous and I’d love to get to know you. Text me sometime J (916)-234-5678 –Shawn”
“He’s desperate.” Harry scoffed putting his arm on the back of my chair.
“Yea…uh…can we leave?” I asked shyly.

I can't believe I miss out on so many of your updates but I'm glad I found your story again. :D
