That wasn't part of the deal

After i have struck my final pose and the host comes on stage, I am dumfounded by the audience. At least half are standing in their seats screaming, and their are dozens in the mosh pit in front of the stage, who have been dancing along. I hope the judges liked it though.

"Wow! I have never seen a reaction like this before in a first solo performance!" Says the first judge. "Personally I wanted to be in that mosh pit myself!" says the next. "We were not expecting that! we were expecting another balad" Its Simon Cowell's turn to judge. "At first I was not interested, as you seemed distracted and non focused. But i just love how you loose yourself in the music and just seem so happy! I have never seen someone smile as much." he says. "thank you judges, and if you want to vote for Maë, simply Text "Maë" to 19 55 55 11"

I walk off the stage and head back to my dressing room where I am met by a group hug of make up artists and clothes designers. "That was amazing!" "I'm so glad the cape worked!" "You facial expressions made it!" they all say to me. "Have any of you got an idea where Lily is?" I ask "She was in here with a boy, but then he left and I don't know where she is know!" Says Sharon, my make-up artist. "Thanks Sharon" I say, and sit down to be pampered for the group performance.

After we have finished the group (live while we're young collab with the boys) we all stand on stage. "Thank you all for an amazing performance! And we would like to say, the first person through from public voting is.... Maë!" A wave of courage flows through me. First? Me? Voted by public? And the audience is going crazy too, they're all screaming and shouting, and jumping up and down!

Back in my dressing room, and the boys are in there giving me a lesson on setting up twitter. Within 5 minutes, I already have 150 followers! I tweet "Great night at the X factor! Thank-you all for you support!" and my notifications explodes. I decide not to read the comments because I don't want to ruin my confidience with hate.
