"I have the best news Mae-Maë!" screams my friend Lily at me. "You know how you owe me one after that time you made me go see two door cinema club?" she yells "mmm-hmmm" I mumble. "I may or may not have got you an audition for X factor! Isn't that so cool?" "I suppose..." she grins happily and slams her locker and runs off. "X factor? WAIT WHAT?" I yell, but she's already gone. Have to complain at lunch.

In maths all I know about the x factor is running through my brain. Its a singing show, 1D got famous from it, and Simon Cowell is a judge, and is a massive bitch. Also there are massive lines and i have no patience. Bloody hell Lily!

"You only want me to do this because you think you will meet one direction!" I complain. "Imagine it in the headlines! Best friend that helped me win x factor! they wont be able to stay away from me!" she explains "pschhhh Lily! Its only an audition! And I am not saying that about you!" Ruby takes this moment to whack me in the face with a sandwich. "Come on loser. Don't even bother auditioning! You suck!" she smears some mayonnaise into my hair "freak" she says, and walks away. "Come on hun." says Lily "lets get you cleaned up" sometimes i think lily is the backbone in my life.

Lily seems so happy during our walk home "Maë! I forgot to tell you! the auditions are tomorrow! I'll be at your house a 7!" Tommorow? Oh shit.
