Summary
Fiercely independent Lily Oaks (Don't kill me please xD) has been on her own ever since she was the mere age of ten. Framed for a murder she didn't commit, she was forced to leave her cozy home in Yuba City, California just to get away. Hitchhiking, walking, stowing away on a ship, and even crazier ways of travel somehow landed her in the woods of London, in the pouring rain. What she finds there may change her life. Will Lily finally have a place to call home, or will betrayal come knocking?
Characters
John Oaks (Lily's Father)
John was and always will be a kind-hearted man. He was Mary Oaks' second husband, and he accepted Lily into the family as if she were his own flesh and blood. He has an even temper, and doesn't like to get angry, but when he does, watch out! Anyways, unless you do something really fucking terrible, his only mood is happy.
Lily Oaks
Lily is a fiercely independent 19-year-old, who only wants a place to stay, somewhere she could call home. Could she ever find that, or is it too much to ask?
Mary Oaks (Mother - Deceased)
Mary is much like her husband, John. She's introverted and likes to keep to herself though. Mary was a wonderful person in life, and had no enemies. Nobody knows why she was killed.
Niall, Louis, Liam, Zayn, and Harry
You know these five :] The adorable singers who, in this story, are hanging out in a secluded area, away from the fans, to take a little break.
