Bathroommates

I struggled to pull the covers aside and jumped out of my bed, sending one of the boys off to the ground. The two others laughed at him while I hurried into my bathroom. Closing the door behind me, I let out a long groan and slid down onto the ground, my back resting against the cool wood.

“Not a morning person, huh?” I heard a man's voice coming from across the room. I opened my eyes the see #4 of the five boys sitting across the room, also on the floor. He had a darker skin tone and a very beautiful face. I just stared at him and he chuckled slightly, taking in my mess of an appearance. My tights were torn and I lost one heel on the way. My hair probably stood into 50 different directions and I was quite positive my dark make-up was smeared all over my face.

“No, not with a hangover like that,” I sighed and he got up and walked over.

“My name's Zayn. Come on, let's get you washed up,” he said while stretching out his hand. I was surprised by his politeness, but too weak to argue. I grabbed his hand and he pulled me up from the ground.

“I'm Cassie. Are we bathroommates?” I asked while turning my back to him to step out of my clothes.

“I know who you are. And yes, it appears so. I hope you don't mind,” he added and I could hear his voice tense a bit. Oh, the clothes. Right. As an actress, I was so used to changing in front of people that I sometimes forgot about it when I was just me.

“No, it's fine with me. And you seem nice. Good jawline, I might add. You have to let me take your picture someday,” I said casually while stepping into the shower still wearing my underwear. It was a huge glass cabin with stripes of frosted glass on the important places. Still, you felt kind of exposed. I took off the rest of my clothes and turned the water on. I welcomed the warmth as the water started running over my body.

“You photograph?” he asked, leaning casually against the sink across from the shower. No intention of leaving. I smirked and reached for the shower gel.

“Occasionally. I like aestheticism,” I explained. He crossed his arms and nodded slightly, still not taking his eyes off me.

“Me, too. Especially now,” he added cheekily. I shot him a glare and motioned towards the door.

“Do you mind?” I asked with a grin.

“It's my bathroom as well,” he countered. I rolled my eyes a bit and grabbed the shampoo.

“Alright with me. If that means I can barge in on you taking showers as well,” I said with closed eyes, rubbing shampoo into my hair.

“I wouldn't mind that at all. In fact, if you ever need to take a shower while I'm in, I guess I could even live with sharing one.” My breathing stopped for a second before I opened one eye to look at him. His grin was now all over his face.

“You're way too cheeky for your own good. And that's not gonna happen, jawline. I don't date younger men,” I said while washing the last remnants of shampoo out of my hair. I turned off the water and turned to step out.

“Good luck with that, being cooped up with us for the next few days,” he grinned and his amusement grew even bigger when he saw that the towels were right next to him, out of my reach.

“Would you mind passing me a towel, please?” I asked, trying not to sound too annoyed. He took one into his hands and made his way over, stretching it out to me, but stopping just before my fingers could grasp it.

“What do I get in return?” he teased.

“You already watched me taking a shower, isn't that enough?” I groaned.

“Nope, 'cause I'm gonna do that a lot from now on. Bathroommates, forgot?” he said and I sighed. I leant my head against the glass wall, my headache was gone, but I wasn't in the mood for steamy flirting. There was only one way out of this. I took a deep breath and looked up at him from my lashes. I put on the most miserable face and tears built up in my eyes.

“Please, Zayn. I'm about to break. Not today,” I said with a quivering voice. His expression changed in an instant and he handed me the towel and even turned around when I stepped out. I grinned to myself and quickly sneaked towards the door to my room.

“I'm sorry, Cassie. Sometimes I don't know when to stop,” he said, and I could hear honest concern in his voice. I laughed loud, causing him to turn around. Standing in my doorframe I looked at him, all the misery from earlier gone.

“First rule when dealing with an actress: never forget she's one,” I laughed and closed the door on him. I locked it and got dressed. That was gonna be interesting.
