"Don’t you ever have that feeling when you love someone but they would never love you back because they love someone else?"

“No, why?”

“I was just thinking.” There was just a moment of silence between Colin and I. The two of us go way back. Our dad’s were best friends so they would take us everywhere with them.
"Well I better get going, I have to work." Thank the Lord it was Saturday tomorrow. "See you tomorrow night." I got up and walked out the door. As much as enjoyed Colin’s company he never answered my questions. As I headed out I bumped into Liam. "Sorry. I was just leaving."
"Don’t worry about it." He smiled down at me. As I walked away he grabbed my arm turning me around. "I’ll see you tomorrow with my eggs and green tea waiting for me?"

“Sunny side up 8:30 far end of the bar.”

“You know me too well.” He whispered in my ear, sending chills down my spine. He let go of my arm and walked to his room.

“So noon we have cheerleading practice?”
“Yes. I have to train in a new guy today at 10, so I’m going to be a little late.” Here at the cafe I work with my best friends Danny, Lyssa, Angie, Donna, Jenny and sometimes Sideny.

At 8:25 I made Liam’s breakfast, by the time he walked in I had his food sitting at his spot. “Liam long time no see.” I walked away to serve and talk to my customers. Liam stuck around to talk to some of our classmates about the summer and up coming classes. But most of the talks were about the dance tonight, which was being hosted here at the cafe. As I came back from picking up tips and checks Donna stopped me at the cash register. “So I heard from a little fairy that Liam is going to ask you to the dance.” “Really?” I lowered my voice to a whisper. I glanced over and saw Liam eyeing me. I smirked at the thought.
“So? What are you going to say?” Donnas voice lowered to match mine. I gigged a little before replying. “I’m going to say yes. It’s not like anyone else was going to ask me.” We laughed a little more before a blonde guy walked in. Turning around I smiled saying “How can I help you?”
“Um… I’m the new employee.” He replied.
“Oh. You must be Niall. I’m Selena and I own Midnight Cafe.” I extended my hand, which he took my hand and kissed it. “I’m Niall. Niall Horan, at your service.” I laughed.
“All righty then Mr. Horan, I’ll take you to meet the rest of the staff and then we can get started on your training.”
