"Harry," Delilah sobbed into my shoulder as we hid and tried to stay as quiet as we possibly could. "P-Please don't go..." She whimpered as I opened the classroom door quietly letting the hall light creep through the crack of the door. The sounds of gun shots and screaming echoed through the halls, tormenting me from stepping outside this what seemed to be safe English room, but I knew I had to at some point.
"It's going to be okay, baby. Trust me" I assured her as I softly kissed her forehead, trying to comfort her in anyway I possibly could.
"Stay with me.." She silently begged as she tugged on my shirt, trying to pull me back as I opened up the door and slowly walked out.
