Amour
Prologue
"I'll have.. I'll 'ave.. whatever that thing is." I slur and point to the specials menu.
As the bartender prepares my drink, I look around.
Damn, I wish Liam was here.
Actually, he might be..
The bartender gives me my drink. I slap some money on the counter and my eyes fall on a certain guy in a group of guys that seems to be the most nervous one. Typical Li.
I can fix that.
I empty my glass of whatever the fuck this drink is and make my way over to him. The other guys have already left.
Even better.
"Hey." I say smoothly. For a second he doesn't notice me.
"Hey yourself." He looks so jittery. I'm gonna fix that.
"What's up, Liam?" I smile and kiss his cheek.
"N-Nothing, Celeste."
I brush a mop of hair off my head.
Wonder why I'm not pregnant yet? I've had sex so many times..
I groan as I realize who the fuck is with me now.
Where was my head last night?!
Liam's still asleep.
Ah. I'm gonna go home.. but he looks so familiar. Where have I seen him before? Oh yeah. We
dated.
I forgot.
I love him.
God.
What's wrong with me?!
I facepalm and kiss his cheek. "Li?"
"Mm? Mornin- what the hell!?"
"Calm down."
"The fuck! I can't calm down!"
"Liam-"
"No, Celeste!"
He looks at me angrily and storms out.
I did it again.
And I lost my boyfriend.
Lovely.
___________________________________________________________
I'm such a slut. I knew it before but I'm admitting it now.
I can't be fucking pregnant!
I cover my face with my hands. Ugh, and I lost Liam. I'm such a slut. I'm such a bitch.
Ugh.
I go look in the mirror. Right now I'm in my apartment. That I somehow manage to pay rent.
No, I'm not a prositute. I'm an animator. I edit commercials and stuff. My boss is an asshole and he's
always got his small eyes on me. Licking his lips. He's 40. Fucking. Five.
45!
And I'm much younger. Lovely.
I punch the mirror and glass shatters to the floor. I pick one up and it accidently falls on my arm.
I deserve this pain..
What should I name them? I know they're twins. I saw a doctor.
Taylor. That's what Liam told me he wanted to name a girl or boy. That'll be the girl.
And Connor. I've always wanted a boy.
Taylor and Connor. Perfect.
I continue running bloody, jagged lines with glass down my arms and legs.
