Crazy Love
Chapter Six ~ Do You Like Carrots?
Akira's POV
"You want to watch a movie?" Johnny Depp Hair says as we walk through what I guess was his house. I give him a confused look as he puts his keys on the table by the door.
"You don't aren't gonna ask about what happened at Infinate?" He shakes his head and plops down on the couch.
"I thought that you didn't want to talk about it. You were pretty quiet on the way here." He is right. I didn't exactly give off a open vibe after we left Infinate. Would you blame me though? I had just received some big news. "But if you wanna talk about it now, I'm open to listen. He says setting his phone on the coffee table." Then it hits me. I suddenly start to feel self-conscious and nervous. I willingly came to a stranger's house. Yes, he's a hot and famous stranger, but none of the less he's still a stranger.
"Um, can I use your bathroom?" I try to hide my nervousness.
"Sure, it's right down the hall. It should be the first door you see when you start heading down the hallway." I nod and try to make it look like I'm not planning on escaping. I don't think I did a very good job. I lock the door, put the toilet lid down and sit on it. I sigh heavily. So, here I am again. Out of one bad situation and into another. What is wrong with me? What do I keep making stupid decisions? For someone so smart, you'd think that I'd learn to think before acting. No such luck. How am I gonna get out of this? I shrug my shoulders. I'll thank him for his help and hope that he lets me go home. I get up and turn the faucet on. Maybe some water will help to get rid of the lingering alcohol. I splash some water on my face. Wait, what am I thinking? This guy has been nothing but nice to me ever since we met. He even took me in when he saw that I was in trouble. He could have left me there in that sticky situation. Even when we got here, he didn't ask questions and try to dig for info. He has been the perfect gentleman. I should give him a proper thank you. I turn the faucet off and open door. Taking a deep breath, I step out. Here goes nothing.

Louis POV
She's been in there for a while now. What in the world is she doing? Do girls really take this long to use the bathroom? Thank god that I'm not a girl. I bet she's wondering about all the carrot themed items that I have in my bathroom. I grab the remote, flipping through the channels. Maybe she's upset. She didn't so much as even look out the window (or at me) the whole way home. I wonder what that jerk did to her. Her best friend my ass. I could see that he had feelings for her. She looked like she needed help when I found her at that club. I can't remember the name though. Was it Institute or Infinity? Oh we'll, it doesn't matter. I found what I was looking for and that's all that counts.i smile as I remember how happy she looked to see me walking over to her. I have a feeling that she's not usually this shy and quiet girl. The ways he handle Harry proves that. If that Alex dude did anything to her... I can't even finish that sentence. I feel this urgent need to protect her from everything that can hurt her, even though I know that it's not possible. I shake my head frowning. A girl like that you can't put a limit on. She isn't meant be tamed, she'll just break through. Besides, it's not like I'm her boyfriend. I sigh and turn off the T.V again. It's not like I would be able to look at it anyway, not with her in the house with me. It's like she takes over my mind. The bathroom door opens and she walks out. I could have kissed her right then and there. She's just so beautiful and she doesn't know it. She sits on the couch beside me and turns to face me.
"I know that I haven't been very open to conversation in the last," she glances at her watch, "thirty minutes or so and I just wanted to thank you for helping me when you didn't have to." I shrug.
"No problem. There's no need to thank me and you already thanked me when we left got in the car, remember?"
"Yeah, but I want to properly thank you and show you my appreciation for rescuing me." I cock an eyebrow. Is she suggesting what I think that she's suggesting? Because I'm down for it if she really wants to do this. "And no, not that kind of appreciation either. Geez, get your head out of the gutter." I blush. I think she's back.
"So what do you have in mind?"
"I have decided to take you up on your movie offer," Yes! "but not tonight." Damn. Hey, it's better than nothing. At least I still get a dat- I mean movie night with her.
"Ok now that that's over with," she gets in the criss-cross position to get comfortable, "let's get to no each other better. We can play a game?"
"Ok" I'd like to get to know her better too. A lot better.
"How about we play. . . 21 Questions?" My eyes stray down to her long legs. The things I imagine those legs can do. Like wrap around my waist. Tight. Someone clears their throat and I'm jump back into reality. Shit. She caught me. I blush and avert my eyes back up to her face.
"Oh, um, sure. You wanna go first?"
"Ok. First things first, what's your name? 'Cause honestly, I'm getting tired of calling you Johnny Depp Hair." She says laughing. Her laugh is so beautiful. I wish that I can record it and put it on replay all day, I'd never get tired of it. I mentally shake myself. What is this? This is not the normal Louis. I don't usually say poetic shit like that, that's in Liam or Niall's category. I'm supposed to be the funny one, not all sensitive and stuff. This girl is already changing me and this is only the second time that we've met.
"You think that I have Johnny Depp hair? Like the legendary Johnny Depp? The one who plays Captain Jack Sparrow?" She nods happily.
"Yep. The one and only."
"So is that a compliment or no?"
"Definitely a compliment. Have you seen his hair? It's all wispy and glossy. I think that he even has better hair than me. You still haven't answered my question by the way."
"Okaaayyy. Not sure how I feel about the hair issue, but my name is Louis. Louis Tomlinson."
"Cool name. Mine's Akira, Akira Carrington. I know, it's a weird name."
"No, it's beautiful." Aww, I made her blush. It's the truth though. Why is everything about her so damn beautiful. Her personality, her hair, her face, her style, and her eyes. Everything. She can't be real. She just can't Maybe this is all a dream and I'm just imagining Akira talking to me. Who am I kidding? I could never come up with a name and personality that beautiful.
"Than you, I guess. It's your turn. Make it good." I think about it for a while.
"Do you like carrots?" She give me an are-you-serious look.
"Really. That's your question?"
"In my defense, it's really an important question to me." I say matter-of-manly.
"Can I ask why it's important?"
"No. Just answer the question. Yes or No?" She huffs.
"Your an arrogant one. Yes, I do like carrots. My turn. Are you a dog or cat lover?"
"Umm. . . I'll have to go with a dog lover."
"Oh my god, is that the correct time?!" She says as she glances my clock on the wall in the kitchen. I nod.
"Shit!" She quickly jumps up and grabs her things.
"Wait, what's wrong?" Jumping up and following her to the door. She grabs her little purse and heads towards the door.
"I have to go." She says hurriedly. Which reminds me...
"Wait! I have something of yours. Hold on." She looks at me in confusion. I rush into my room and grab the purse that she left at Liam's house. "Here. I was coming to give this to you at the club." She gives me a hug. She smiles and gives me a hug. Hmmm, she smelled like strawberries and mango. Good enough to eat.
Whoa, get your head out of the gutter Louis. You wouldn't want to get all excited while she's this close. Now, that would be awkward.
"Thanks. I didn't even notice that it was missing." She turns back to open the door again.
"Hold on! Can I have your number? You know...for tomorrow...so I can tell you when to come over."
"Uh, yeah. Do you have a pen? I search around for a pen and find a blue one in the kitchen junk drawer.
"Here you go."
"Thanks." She takes out a piece of paper from her bag and writes her digits on the back of. "Here. We can finish the rest of the game tomorrow. Thanks again for the bag." As soon as the door shuts and the elevators close, I let out my loudest shout. I got her number! And she's coming back tomorrow! I take out my wallet and tuck the slip of paper with her number on it. Don't want to lose this. I put on my pajamas and slip into bed. Today was a long day. Besides, I need to be well rested for tomorrow.
I'll need it for what I'm planning.
